Worth Every Penny
This scale is fantastic for your weighing needs, whether big or small. This is the first scale I've ever purchased for my weighing needs (back in 2009 to boot) and not once did it cause any problems or die out on me. An absolute regret free purchase!Let's get a little more into the item shall we? :)You get the following weighing options.1. Grams2. Kilograms3. Ounces4. Pounds5. Pounds & OuncesAnd the following buttons.1. On/Off - Obviously to turn on or off. It's kind of nice that it greets you hello and goodbye but this feature can actually be done away with. It would be quicker if the scale could start without it since start-up takes a couple of seconds longer. It's just the initial start so it's not really a problem once it's over and done with.2. Hold - This is great if you want to remove the items you're weighing but keep the weight displayed.3. Tare/Zero - To reset the scale to zero. Sometimes the scale can go into the negatives or be off a bit due to lots of weighing but a quick press can reset it. Also good for clearing the weight being held with the hold button.4. There's also a black button on the side for you to change how you want to weigh the items. Each click will change to grams, ounces, or whatever you choose. There's also a little triangle on the display that indicates which option you're currently on.The Pros1. Great Battery Life - The scale can operate on 4 C batteries but holy cow, does it operate well on these. I'm still using the same batteries I bought for it back in 2009 when I first purchased the scale. And I've been using the scale pretty much everyday, multiple times a day, without fail for pretty much everything. I also often forget to turn the scale off since I usually end up sidetracked. It's plain awesome that about 4 years in and I haven't had to change the batteries even once.2. Auto-Off Feature - I mentioned I often forget to turn the scale off right? Well, it'll turn itself off eventually so that saves the battery life even more. Great for someone forgetful. XD3. Great Accuracy - You can weigh the lightest of items to a heavy 55 pounds. I've had no problems with getting expected weights. Even if it does go off, it's usually very minimum (like 0.1 oz if you're using ounces). I normally weigh the same items a couple of times to be sure.4. Detachable Display - This serves well for large items that block the display making it difficult to see the weight. Detaching it solves the problem quite nicely. The Neutral1. Color - Nothing big but I got the silver color. It does kind of look outdated but I guess it's more of an aesthetic thing for me. I like pretty and well, it's not much of it. Since the color is rather neutral though, I don't have much gripes about it otherwise. The Cons1. The item does have rather sharp/scratchy edges so I think it's better to be careful when moving it about (or even when detaching the display). I tend to change it's location quite often so I'm extra careful when I do. Otherwise, I don't have any cons regarding the scale. And that's about it. This is quite the durable scale so it's a great option to consider! I certainly hope mine will run for another 4 years if not more!

Great scale, accurate and durable, saved many trips to the post office
This is a great little scale. It very accurate (I checked what it measured with the post office scale on several occasions). It is small, so it fits anywhere. I have been using for several years on the original set of batteries with almost daily use.I like that it can give read out from letters which are under 1 oz to up to packages that are 55 pounds. It can handle large packages, and you can remove the digital read out if your package is too large for you to see the read out when the package is placed on the scale. This scale saved me a lot of time standing in line in the post office. It saved me a lot of money driving to the post office. It covers all my needs. I am a big fan of this little scale. After many years of service my first scale stopped working. It began generating random numbers non-stop. The behavior matched the situation when the scale needs to be recalibrated. I could not correct my scale and bought a new UltraShip scale. But since it took me a while to find the calibration instructions so I am posting them here in case it will be of help to someone else. How to calibrate**The UL-30/35 requires a 10kg calibration weight to calibrate. The UL-50/55 and UL-75 require a 20kg calibration weight. (you can use a combination of weights such as 5 2kg weights)**1. The scale must be powered OFF. Press and hold [ZERO] first, then Press [ON/OFF] while keeping the [ZERO] button depressed, then release both keys. The display will show the A/D value (a series of random numbers).2.Wait for the stable A/D value to be displayed, Press [UNIT] the display will show "0SAVE", then the display will return to the random A/D value.3.Place the 10kg (UL-30) or 20kg (UL-50 & UL-75) weight(s) on platform. Wait for the stable A/D value to display, then press [UNIT], the display will show "0SAVE". Calibration is complete, remove the weight(s).4.Turn the scale OFF (Press the ON/OFF key) , then turn it back ON and check some weight readings. If calibration is still incorrect, repeat calibration but try it more slowly. If calibration is repeatedly incorrect then:1) Replace the batteries,2) Try a more stable surface or vibration and interference free location,3) Be sure there is no staticelectricity on the scale (use an anti-static spray to remove static electricity)Some useful weights info:1 liter = 1kg and 1 gallon = 128oz.= 8 pounds, 1/2 gallon = 64oz = 4 pounds

Great accurate scale right to the 100th of a lbs
I've had this for 5 years and it still works on command. Very accurate right to the 100th of a lbs. Most scales round to the 5 or to the 0

Tolle Waage
Auch für schwere Gegenstände gut geeignet. Extra Netzstecker sorgt dafür dass man keine Batterien benötigt. Sehr leicht und präzise, absolut zu empfehlen.

Doesn't come as advertised
Overall the scale is easy to use however it's supposed to come with an AC adapter. This is included in the write up and what I paid for. Scale was shipped without an adapter. It's scratched off in black marker on the exterior of the box however isn't advertised that way. I wouldn't have purchase item knowing it didn't come with the adapter. I feel ripped off by this company.
