Home Accent White Wood Carved Top Sofa Console Table

Wanted a window table that my kitten could sit on in the window, as well as hold a plant, a book, or framed photo or two. The lower shelf is a really nice aspect, offering more shelf space plus contributing to it's stability. This table fits the bill perfectly and is really pretty as well. It's sturdy, went together in like ten minutes, and isn't overly heavy, though it is made quite well and the price is fair. It sits under the window of my guest bedroom which has a Victorian theme and looks beautiful. So glad I bought it!

I love the shabby chic, french country look and I thought this table would be a great addition to my decor at a low price. But it's pretty much what you pay for. The quality of the "wood" looks a bit like drywall. The carvings have an odd black streak around them - perhaps it wasn't painted properly? This table looks great from afar, fits nicely with the rest of my shabby chic decor (I use it as a sofa table) and is sturdy enough to hold about 20+ magazines on the bottom shelf. The pieces are very easy to assemble in less than 15 minutes.

Quite lightweight but pretty white-it arrived undamaged,quick ten minute assembly-just attach the legs..needs to be like $25 cheaper because of the flat white paint job that comes off on your hands-sorta chalky like,and one leg was bent,making it a bit awkward to screw in,otherwise its a pretty little table.

I wanted these tables to put my plants on because I was moving to an apt with narrow windowsills. I needed a place to allow my plants to receive adequate light. The tables (I bought 2 of them), were really great for this purpose. Easy to assemble. Attractive. I received many compliments on them. After a month, I noticed that they were a little hard to clean when dusty or if anything dripped on them, due to their matte finish.Today, I had some white oil paint out for another project and I was inspired to paint the bottom shelf...amazing. So, then I painted the top shelf. This was with a gloss oil paint. They look wonderful and now the surfaces are sealed ; waterproof and washable. Just one quick coat did the trick and the paint went on very easily using a foam brush. . They look like expensive tables...you'd think they've been in the family for years!

Top of table is very pretty. Unfortuantely one of the screw on the bottom wooden feet was cracked. The paint is very very bad with bright yellow pee colored spots in 3 places on 3 different legs and is a huge contrast compared to the bright white the rest of the table is. Bottom shelf is nothing more than some sort of particle board that has been painted white & left with a raw edge and ours even had a crushed corner on one side. It will be fixable with work but I ordered this so that I didn't have to do alot of work. Disappointed.

I needed a little Console Table for my small bathroom and this is perfect! Easy to assemble, easy to paint (It comes in white) and looks nice. Fits in the wall space between bathroom door and the bathtub/shower and doesn't take up too much space. I received plenty of compliments on this console.

I really do like this table. It arrived amazingly fast, and was very simple to put together. It is sturdy and very pretty… BUT! What's up with the black stuff? As another reviewer mentioned, there are black "highlights" painted onto this beautiful white table. They are not subtle or thin or painted on with a light hand - they are thick, heavy lines!!! I have no idea why they are there, because they sure don't add a thing. Perhaps it was someone's misguided effort to make it "shabby chic"? If so - EPIC FAIL! I am going to have to paint this table white before using it, which is irritating. But after I paint it, it will be a very pretty table.

My use of this is kind of unusual. I got this to put next to my chair-and-a-half so I could put my CPU on the bottom shelf and attach my monitor on a swing-arm, so I could sit in a comfy chair while I use my computer. The carving on the top creates holes, so I was able to use some holes for cord management and one hole near the edge as a grommet hole for the Ergotron computer arm. It's not what it was designed for, but it works great. I can sink back with my feet up with the keyboard in my lap (compact keyboard with a touch pad). It's very pretty, too; would be nice in a hallway or behind a sofa. Great for the price, and works well for my improvised use.
