Rough Country 2" Leveling Kit for 2009-2018 Ram 1500 2WD - 30430

Gave my 2013 Ram 1500 2WD tradesman a great new look, new ride. Coupled with new tires the next day after shock installation, rides like a new truck! What a difference. I can't say how easy or hard they were to install since I had them installed but shocks, springs/shocks are generally not that easy to do so I paid a local truck company to install them and they did awesome work at a very fair price. Truck doesn't shake or rattle when you hit bumps in the road. My front end matches the rear of the truck which truly looks amazing and means no more scraping from the front end anymore. Would recommend these shocks for the same model Dodge truck since this is what I have. You can call Rough Country customer service (really helpful people over there) and verify your part number and fit. Saved me a bunch of money!

These are NOT easy to install! It took 10 hrs to install the drivers side and another 2 to install the passenger side. The biggest issues were compressing the old spring enough to get it out and the new one to get it in. The bolts in the bottom of the shocks are also a huge pain in the...knuckles...as there is no good way to keep a socket on them. The kit did level my truck 2 inches but the ride is a bit bouncy.

Just installed this today on a 2011 ram 1500. Was pretty easy to install, had i had larger shop and equipment it would have only been a couple hour job. Looks great and actually raised the front of my truck more than 2 inches (had bad shocks prior to install). Hoping this will last a long time. Made my truck look 100% better as well as the ride! Plan on adding RC rear shocks soon

No spring compressor needed. Just have a buddy stand on the lower control arm and the factory spring falls out. These springs are the exact same height as the stock, but wider coils so they don't sag holding the truck 2" higher. However, the factory ride was the same! The shocks are way better then the factory and are not the cheap built people say they are. I was very surprised on the ride, quality of product and ease of install. With my buddy, it took us 2.5 hours and we took our time.

Parts won't fit a 2015 ram 1500 2wd. Took it to a shop to have them installed and they were not able to get the coils to fit. Mechanic said the coils are about 1 inch wider than stock. No part number on the coils so no way you know if wrong part was shipped. Box says correct p/n but won't fit. Waisted half day on this.. smh.. i won't buy from Them again.
