Levi'sMen's Carrier Cargo Shorts (Also Available in Big & Tall)

I bought these for my honey. He is 5' 8" tall, 205 lbs.He had wanted these shorts as they had 3 snaps on the 2 cargo pockets (he likes to store his wallet and sundry items) they don't bulge out or are too tight, enough room is there. The material is light in weight, not hot, not thick. No issues with washing (cold water, tumble dry)-still look good. Dressier than knit or cotton shorts. The shorts hit right above the knee, able to perform many jobs around the house with them on, no pinching or pulling noted.Hope this helps as I rely on other people's reviews....

I'm about 6'4'' and 250lbs. I've recently been extremely frustrated by the modern trend of shorter shorts for men. On a big guy like me they just look ridiculous if it's even possible to get them on. I've also been frustrated by Dickies sizing, they are always extremely small and uncomfortable on the waist, but there doesn't seem to be that many other options these days. I'm really glad I found these, I'll be buying a second pair. If you are looking for a normal fitting pair of shorts that aren't too big and baggy or way too short these are perfect.

My husband had a pair of these from what must have been a decade ago. I can't really say exactly when he got them, but he's had them since before we met, and that was a few years ago now. They were ratty and threadbare around the edges, and he finally ripped a big hole along the lower hem on one leg, where an existing smaller hole caught on something while he was moving around. Rrriiip. They were well beyond repair.But he continued to wear them anyway. Now, I'm a real laid back girlfriend/wife. I get the old comfortable clothes/ chairs/ whatever kind of stuff, and I usually don't push my guys (past and present) to get rid of things. Heck, I have stuff like that myself. You let the ratty shorts slide, sure, okay. But the shorts that literally have a 5" tear along the lower hem, those have gotta go. That's when you go... babe, get a new pair of shorts, and then when he doesn't, you hunt the same pair of shorts down online. That's how I got here, and bought these. Haha!They're as sturdy as the last pair, new, and they immediately became his favorite pair of shorts. He mostly stopped wearing the ratty ones, except for when these were in the wash. Now, I got him a 38, because that's what the old ones were, and they do fit him nicely. However, I've measured him, and his waist is more around 40-42 depending on placement. He can wear these shorts without a belt, mostly, but he still puts one on when going outside. So they might run a tad large. Really, depends what you expect in pants. If you expect to have to wear a belt, then probably order at your normal size. If you like to go sans-belt, maybe order a size down.Enjoy your shorts, guys. They're actually really good quality.

When I originally spotted these shorts, the gray color happened to be on sale. I took a chance to purchase them, figuring I could always send them back if my husband didn't like them. Low and behold, he LOVED them!! So much so that he had our son try them on, and then I ordered him some as well. In total, I've now purchased 11 or 12 pairs.PROS:Both my husband and son have longish legs, so finding shorts that don't fall mid-thigh on them can be a challenge. These fall about an inch above the knee on them both. For reference, they're both about a 34" inseam in pants.Although these are cargo shorts, they are a cross between the quick dry and the real heavy fabric type kind making them a perfect balance of comfort and durability. They both prefer the more lightweight, quick dry kind, as opposed to the thicker and often hot material of typical shorts, but those often lack the durability they need. These shorts, with their cross blend type material, will be perfect for them.My favorite!! Buttons on the pockets! I HATE velcro pockets with a passion! First off, they get stuck to everything in the dryer. Second of all, they wear out over time, and the stitching around it comes undone. Lastly, it never stays in place, so your pocket edges roll up, and all your stuff just falls out. Hahaha!! Not with these buttons!! I washed and dried all the shorts when they came, and all of them still looked great. Plus, the pockets are the perfect size, in my opinion. I didn't ask the guys their opinion, but I'm going to assume they feel the same way.I also didn't notice any shrinkage with washing and drying. I typically wash all our laundry on warm and dry on medium temp. Obviously, temps are going to vary depending on your washer and dryer.Cons:If these shorts aren't on sale, they're a bit pricey in my OPINION. Again, this is just my opinion, and you may feel completely different.Overall, these shorts are great! I highly recommend them!

I've been dieting and needed skinnier clothes. When I saw Levi's jeans and shorts on Amazon as Prime Day deals, I bought one of each.Now I wish I'd bought additional colors of each while they were on sale. They fit great, and I presume based on the apparent quality of the materials and stitching that they'll be as durable as one would expect from the Levi's brand. Now I just need to stay thin!

These are great shorts! It's hard to buy clothes online - especially when you are buying them for someone else. I purchased these for my husband for an upcoming trip since we are unable to find shorts in any brick and mortar store in October. He loves these! They are heavy weight - these are not a thin ripstop fabric for sure. The pockets lay down nicely, even after they are washed. Nice shorts and a good quality.

The zipper on these shorts is a joke and ruined the otherwise good product ! The tad to pull up your zipper is a joke . The tab is about a 1/8 inch long and about about 1/8 inch wide . It is way too small and hard to find and grip . And just to add to the problem there is a flap of cloth that the tab can sink down under where you cannot get at the tab at all . About the 10th time this happened I tried to cut open the flap to get to the tab and ended up throwing away a pair of shorts I really liked . Bad zipper , bad buy !

I bought a pair last year for my boyfriend, who is tough to shop for. He works in home renovation and likes durability in clothing. He loved them so much that I bought another pair this year. I've bought the gray and tan ones, I will buy another colour next month for his birthday.
