Excellent spice for making Kung Pao Chicken. Plus it came very quickly.!

This makes making a peanut chicken stir fry so easy. Great day when I stumbled onto these packets and decided to try.

I've been buying this for years in the grocery store. Although I can still find other Sun-Bird seasoning products, my stores have discontinued the Kung Pao. So easy, saute your dry roasted unsalted peanuts, then add the cubed chicken and stir-fry until done. Add your veggies. I always use lots of onions and green peppers and sometimes add sliced carrots for color or sliced water chestnuts if I have them on hand. While it's cooking mix the packet with water, soy sauce and sugar (I use less sugar than the packet calls for, because I don't care for sweet main dishes). Stir it in. It thickens quickly, then serve it over steamed rice that has cooked while preparing the Kung Pao. I also use it with boneless pork chops cut into bite-size cubes and and sometimes with beef. Give it a try. It's as quick as going to your local Chinese carry-out place, and better than my nearest.

Is use this seasoning with shrimp and chicken. I add peas, scallions and peanuts and the dishes are great!

Can't find this product in supermarkets anymore in the Alhambra area and it is a very good product. Flavorful and easy. A bit overpriced than it used to be but then everything is going up these days.

Love this stuff. So easy to make. I toss it with cooked spaghetti. Everyone loves it that way.

Very tasty Makes a great quick dinner

I have been using this for years but some stores stopped carrying it or ran out so I was happy to be able to find it online.Tastes great when made. I like spicy so I sprinkle some chili powder on the chicken before cooking it andalways get compliments when I make it.It's also one of my favorites....quick, easy, delicious!
