igourmet Kerrygold Aged Cheddar Cheese with Irish Whiskey (7.5 ounce)

Excellent with crackers and glass of wine. Small slice is pricey, but worth the splurge. Arrived well packaged and fresh.

Pricey, but excellent for special occasion, one of the best slice of cheese I have ever tasted, now where is wine and apples! Yum to relax by, your favorite person!

Wonderful fairly sharp cheddar that isn't overpowering in it's sharpness. The whiskey in the cheese adds a bit of a flavor note without muting the flavor of the base cheese, it melds well. Wonderful eating cheese, I haven't tried it but I do wonder if it would work well for homemade mac and cheese or other cheese based dishes, I suspect it would.

I just received this and am very unhappy. It is advertised as Kerrygold, but as you can see by the picture it is not.

The cheese that arrived at my home was late by about five days and it was not the brand that was advertised. I am very disappointed with this purchase because it is not Kerrygold cheese. Kerrygold cheese is one of my favorite brands of cheese so I was looking forward to a nice chunk of this cheese. The cheese that arrived was Cahills Irish Whisky cheese. It looks like nothing pictured here. There is no listing of the weight on the packaging so I can't tell if it is the same as the Kerrygold. The outside packaging is very oily. Not particularly happy with the bait and switch.

Will be reordering! Delicious

Didn't realize how small a portion 7.5 oz is - Costs a lot when you consider shipping...However...I've never had a more amazing Saturday late morning breakfast than this cheese with apple on crackers & a side of bacon. So, yeah, totally worth it.

It's the small slice not the whole wheel. If you aren't a cheese expert the add is misleading. Be careful.
