I have a 01, the new exhaust did give it a little deeper sound, but nothing really wild. I do like the exhaust it does not drone you out of the vehicle.

Hello, This is a 2.25 inch exhaust kit accordingly.

Q: Does this cat back system have a rear exhaust hanger?

Yes, but only for 1997 & newer. BUT WAIT, you can get one for 1996 & older if you type into the Amazon search engine; Walker 36377. The hanger that comes with the kit is nothing but a 2 1/4" muffler clamp with a round bar welded on. But the Walker 36377 is made of a metal plate with a rubber loop & a saddle for the top of the muffler clamp. So you still need a 2 1/4" muffler clamp at the rear. OR cut the bar off the supplied hanger, it's correct in size & the bar is only welded on one side.
