Excellent pronunciation guides

I have purchased many versions of these books in several different languages for my high school children to learn languages. They really like the workbook style of book. The instructions are all in English, so it is easy for them to understand what they need to do. It consists of filling in the blank type problems and choosing the correct answer from a list. The answers to the problems are at the end of the book, so they can determine if they got the answer right or wrong. I feel that these books have helped them greatly and I would recommend to others.

Wife learning French and this book is great for beginners. A must have.

The Kindle edition is formatted in such a way as to make it useless. Specifically all of the new vocabulary seems to be formatted as a graphic file, rather than as text, so when you increase font size of the text the new vocabulary stays the same size. Yes, you can independently blow up the size of the graphic files but they are very low resolution so they become blurry, illegible, and off center (the first several letters of each work become cut off). Very disappointing.If you must buy this book, buy the print edition.

I think this is an excellent choice if you are a complete beginner. Together with the Kindle French dictionary I acquired also, It has been easy for me to learn many words and expressions. Merriam-Webster's French-English Translation Dictionary, Kindle Edition (French Edition)

For a student of French, this book is valuable, although lacking an audible version. . My copy came promptly and in excellent condition. This author produces several titles that are logically arranged and helpful.

Excellent and very easy to read and use book. The lay out allows you to build upon and review vocabulary learned in earlier excercises. Will enjoy completing the book.

Really useful

Great book. Bought used for only 5 dollars. There was some damage to it - looked like water damage but smelt like perfume. There was also gross crusty white stuff on the cover which I cleaned without issue. Would give lower starts but it was used for 5$ and is a helpful book.

Helped considerably to revive my interest in learning the language.
