For years I've been painfully scraping my scalp on the collar ties in the attic. I never seem to bend over quite far enough. These fit nicely over the bottom edge of the wood, and I used a few staples to help hold them in place. Now I keep hitting my head, but it doesn't matter. The wood is nicely cushioned!

I don't use this item for pipe insulation, but I wrap velvet cloth around them with a piece of wood in the center and mount them side by side tightly in a jewelry box draw and used to store finger rings in between them. Works great.

My hot water pipes travel with cold air ducts. It used to take 2 minutes to get hot water at the bath because the pipes were chilled with the cold air ducts. We insulated the pipes with this product and now hot water is available after 25 seconds. We actually timed it. The product was easy to cut and form around the hot water pipe and bends and we're glad to recommend it. We're wasting much less water in the kitchen now thanks to this product.

Not what I expected. Tubes are very thin. Too small for the bars on my trampoline. They are half the circumference needed. Pay attention to size because I didn’t.
