Ameriwood Home Wildwood Wood Veneer Entryway Bench, Rustic Gray

The box arrived in pretty good shape so I was excited to open it and start assembling. When we opened the box all the hardware bags had holes and were scattered throughout. Luckily all the pieces remained in the box with the exception of two. Unfortunately, the two pieces that escaped the box were not pieces that can just be picked up in store or ordered online so we had to go through the manufacturer. The manufacturer had the pieces delivered within a week which was nice but not as fast as I had hoped for. There is also an issue with the schematics when assembling the bench piece for the wooden dowels so look ahead before applying glue and putting them all in the M and K boards, you only need the longest dowels for the middle board in the bench. Once we got it put together it was very underwhelming. It’s not as tall as I had imagined at all or as thick and wide. I don’t know what I was picturing when I measured the space but this piece is not what I had in mind. It is very short. It’s too much to take apart and repackage so I guess it’ll have to stay unless I can sell it and find something else. :-/ very disappointing.

Absolutely beautiful and functional! Easy assembly, I was able to put it together in under an hour mostly by myself with a little help from my son. I love the versatility of sit/stand!

I purchased this for my basement entryway, the shipment speed was very fast, everything came within 1 box which you would need a handcart to move around if you are alone. The overall construction of the product was pretty strong, however, I would recommend them to make sure they label all their pcs properly. I ran into problem during assembling because someone had mislabeled the E and F pcs which required me to dissemble some parts which resulted in broken cam locks. I contacted their customer service department the rep was very nice over the phone and send over my requested replacement parts within 1 week. Overall I am satisfied with this product hopefully it will last a long time.

NOT pleased with this purchase!! Seriously... for $400 you'd think that it'd be a little more sturdy (very wobbly.) and it's broken in several places. Too bad, because it's a beautiful piece but the quality is crap! Spend a couple hundred dollars more and get something better quality. Learn from my mistake.

Initially I loved the photos of the entryway coat rack but was skeptical after reading some of the reviews. I went ahead and bought it anyways and I am so glad we did!!! This item is very sturdy and well made. It took my husband and I a little over 2 hours with a small break. We did run into a couple of snags with the nails fitting but we persevered and we’re able to get them in the right places. We received a lot of compliments and the initial cost guess was always $600+ !!! So happy with the purchase. Exactly what we hoped it would be.

We were nervous based on the other reviews that we might get a lemon, but we were very happy. I won't dock a star, but Ameriwood Home needs new forklift drivers. Like the other reviews, our boxes had seen better days when they arrived. They were packaged very, very well. There's no way the contents could've been damaged unless something just threw them 100' in the air over a large pile of boulders. Rather, the forklift operators pulling these out of the warehouse need to SLOW DOWN. Huge gouges in the boxes mean an operator error - nothing else. It did go through styrofoam and made a very small dent on the surface of the desk, but not in any spot I see or use, so I'm lucky. Had it been where I use it, I could fix easy enough with my woodworking skills. This was not their fault, so I still give it 5 stars.The desk itself is awesome. Extremely well designed and built. I'm 6'4" and fit great. The standing portion is a good height for taking notes.

Delivery takes a bit, but it is free with prime, so no real complaints on that. The desk is easy to put together (comes in two parts); takes about 30 mins. The quality is fantastic and the look amazing. If you’re in the market for a hybrid desk (standing and sitting) this is a very good option

This desk came earlier than expected. Beautiful finish and shade. It looks much better than the pics. Simple to put together and took less than 30 minutes. No parts were missing or any damage. Very well packaged. If your hesitating about this purchase, don’t hesitate any longer. Buy it.
