MonteverdeUSA Ink, 90 ml Documental Permanent Black (G308DB)

This brand ink has never let me down and quickly became my favorite after buying "California Teal".This bottle of ink is not only lubricated to keep my pen working each and every time, but is also permanent, making it suitable for watercolor illustration, writing, and so much more. It works on cheap paper as well as fountain pen papers.

It is permanent and it writes reasonably well on correction tape - and it is a very good value. I was looking for a much darker ink, so I will be using Platinum Carbon Chou Kuro, which is exceptionally dark and also writes well on correction tape (and is far more expensive). Documental Blue ink is good and I will pass it on to my niece. For blue on paper, I am using Noodler's x-feather blue, which is much darker. The pen I was using for my experiments was a Pillot capless with a M nib.

A very good permanent black ink. I wish it was just a bit darker as I like a very dark black line. But very fine ink all around!

I just received this ink and filled my Lamy pen with it, to try it out. Yay! I like the color, and did a water test, I really could not see any spread. I am so happy with it. Sorry I can't show you a photo, camera is not working, take my word for it.

This is a wonderful, very rich, dark, permanent, black ink. You can throw water on it alcohol markers. Anything you can think of because it is permanent when dry, and will not move. Definitely recommend this product.

This came in excellent packaging, with an appropriately sized box, bubble wrap around the ink bottle box, and packing peanuts to fill in the little void space that was left. This combined with the promptness of the shipping (arrived earlier than expected) give me confidence in this seller. A very fair price for the ink as well, shame that shipping cost just as much.

The ink is just gray. It's not black. I don't know how black ink gets messed up. Annoying.

As I expected

Vraiment une encre imperméable. La couleur est d'un bleu assez moyen, mais l'encre est waterproof au même prix qu'une bouteille de waterman ou pelikan.

This is a nice black ink, but it is NOT waterproof. Wish I'd gone for the Roher & Klingner Dokumentus 700 first time around as it is definitely waterproof and for use in fountain pens. Still, I can use the Monteverde for other projects, so it's not a complete waste of money.
