One year review. 15 hours of use. This is a beast and I love it.
I know what you’re thinking— after one year if he only has 15 hours on the clock, he’s underusing that machine. And you might be right if measured by time alone. But let me tell you, I used this to start to tame a very unkempt acre full of heavy grass and weeds. I abused it for these hours going over very lumpy dirt, giving the whole thing a good shake for nearly the whole time.I live in a region with a short growing period and long winters. During the winter I’d try to remember to start it up every week because I don’t yet have a trickle charger. Even when I forgot to do so, it still fired right up after a month of sitting, so I’m happy with the battery it comes with.I just did the first engine maintenance on it- you do an oil change after the first 15 hours. The oil looked exactly as you’d expect, the plugs were clean, and even though the air filter was ready for replacing, the intake was clean.I practiced removing the mow deck and found it took me about 45 minutes the first time. I think with more space and experience I could probably do it in about 20 minutes now.I’m excited to see how she pulls some implements. There’s some good vids with more thorough details, but I’m happy with my purchase a year later.

It's got the power
I upgraded from the YTH 48 inch series. I had my old one for about 13 years and had over 700 hours on it. So far this garden tractor is bigger, more powerful, and overall a sweet upgrade for our large land. I like that it is more capable of handling the attachments we have. And the locking diff already saved me from being stuck a couple times without having to get off and pick up the rear end and move it. That said, when it arrived on crate, it was difficult to get it off the crate because of how they lock the wheels into the pallet - can't just drive it off. Had to attach the seat, the bumper bar, and the battery to get up and running. Then had to lower the tire pressure, adjust the wheel alignment, and level the deck to get it all just right. I hope it has the longevity my last one did.

Mostly well built.
Pros: sturdy, solid build (160 pounds heavier than similar competitor models), heavier transaxle and rear tires, metal - not plastic hood, and BIG PLUS is locking transaxle at the touch of a switch - plowed right through boggy area where my older garden tractor would get stuck.Cons: no instructions to remove from pallet (others commented on this - jack it up and put 3/4 plywood between tires and pallet). Deck as arrived was 1 1/2" difference front to back when max should be 1/2". I had to download the manual, also deck sets a little lower than I felt it should.Over all: Pleased with it and feel it is best route for a garden tractor of the many I looked at.

A great mower, once you get it off the skid.
Overall a real nice, well made mower. The mower deck appears to be well constructed. It has a very tight turn radius and steers easily. It does ride a little on the firm side. Possibly because the manual says to deflate the tires (they come over inflated) to the max recommended pressure printed on the side of the tire. Dropping the pressure a little more improves the harsh ride.Beware that getting it off the HEAVY wooden skid it ships on is not easy. The instructions, which do not come with the mower and you must find and download, say to just roll it off the skid. There is absolutely no way you will do that. The skid is constructed so as to prevent the wheels from being able to roll forward or backward. And the mower deck, in its raised position, was blocked by the skid. I used a sledge hammer and chainsaw to destroy enough of the skid to get the mower off.It will take two people to install the seat, it is pretty heavy. Mine was missing the hardware to mount the front bumper. AE Outdoor Power had excellent customer service and overnighted me the required hardware. The fuel tank opening is small. You must use a funnel or a spout on the gas can. My 15 year-old Craftsmen tractor had an opening twice the diameter of this one. My mower was delivered with the oil level in the engine 1/2 qt. low.The safety sensor below the seat is too sensitive. The slightest movement in the seat triggers the sensor and the mower cuts off for a second until you shift your behind in the seat.It isn't perfect, but mows well and looks like it will last a long time. I'd buy it again.

Shoddy Assembly
Our initial experience with the Husqvarna tractor was positive, meeting our expectations and leading us to purchase a second one. However, the second tractor did not live up to these standards. Despite the label proudly claiming it was assembled in the United States, we encountered numerous issues. The gauges were misaligned, the front end had incorrect toe-in, the mower deck was not adjusted properly, and the wire connected to the PTO was positioned underneath the engine, causing a short circuit that blew a fuse. Adding to our frustration, only one of the two authorized service dealers listed on their website could service the tractor. Furthermore, the other dealer we turned to for help could have been more reliable when it came to providing receipts. Because of the lack of a trailer, we had to pay for transportation to pick up and drop off the tractor. The differential switch failed within just one week, and we discovered that the engine had too much oil, causing it to emit smoke. It's been a few weeks, and there haven't been any more issues, but we are cautiously optimistic. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The tractor itself has the power to cut even tall grass that may have been neglected for a few weeks. The differential is excellent. We have a wild apple tree, and when the apples are crushed, they become slippery. So the rear wheel started slipping, and I flipped the switch. Within 1–2 seconds, it engaged, and the tractor was able to cut the grass. It's a slow tractor; you usually have to push the throttle near full if you want any speed.Maybe it will be a good tractor once all the kinks are worked out.

The safety of the mower
My lawn mower guy just loves it. He can get the mowing done in an hour and I have a little over an acre of land to mow.
