When my 20 + year old Makita ROS finally died, I started shopping for a replacement. But for any of the name brands over 2 amps I was in the $100 + range. Meanwhile my 20 + years old Black & Decker drills were still working perfectly (Replace the battery's last year) and I figured I'd give their budget ROS a try and see how it worked.Not only are the ergonomics’ superior to the Makita and Porter Cable I tried at Home Depot, but its operation is butter smooth and the results were flawless.I've been a custom Drum builder for 33 years and natural finishes on exotic woods are part of my product line. This little sander really surprised me with not only the quality of the finish but its ability to keep the dust in the collection bag and out of the air. Not sure if a vacuum adapter is available but if it is, that could possibly make this a zero dust sander. Only other option I wish it had ? A variable speed control (but at $32.75 delivered, I got no complaints!)Not sure about longevity as I’ve only had it for a week, but the build seems solid, the weight and balance (IMHO) is damn near perfect and this is easily as good as any of the sanders I coulda bought for $150 +.Very happy so far!

it came fast and is is working great

I just completed refinishing the three staircases in my home. It took me about 10 days. I have never used anything but sandpaper, so I researched sanders and settled on this one. The sander helped me tremendously. It is lightweight and easy to hold. It removed the polyurethane and stain on each stair.However, if I had purchased a heavier duty sander, I think my project would have been easier. It took lots of patience to wait for the sander to work through the topcoat of polyurethane. I used 80 grit, for reference.Once I got through to the stain, sometimes I had to press and angle the sander to remove it. Also, if I hit the risers with the sander, it would cause the on/off button to toggle and turn off the sander. This became quite annoying.I used 120 grit to smooth each stair, and this sander made the wood feel like glass.I recommend this for smaller projects than the one I undertook. I think a heavier duty sander would have made my project easier. I also recommend this if you’re looking for something lightweight.Four stars because it helped me complete a huge project, which in turn increased my confidence in performing home improvement projects.

Powerful little sander. I was skeptical at first I started using I was amazed by how powerful and efficient the sander is I love the fact that it has the dust bag and easy to use.

What a great little sander this is. It feels comfortable to hold and is easy to use, not a lot of vibration noticed, and the unit is easy to control. For the price, it is a great value and buy.

This orbital has a good sanding pattern that is easy to buff out scratches, along with a pack of good sandpaper this will take care of most sanding jobs and all finishing work you need. I bought a belt sander for rough sanding,but this is my go-to for general sanding now.

This is my first orbital sander...it's easy to use...it orbits and it sands. Perfect!

The media could not be loaded.  Exelente,no es ruidosa no se sobrecalienta y deja perfectos los acabados,me gusto tanto q a la semana siguiente compre otra pues solamente en los 2 primeros trabajos recupere mi inversion,este modelo esta bastante bien como profecinal lo puedo recomendar al 100%su diseño su ergonomia y su estetica están perfectas,la epuñadura está engomada esto le da muy buen agarre y no se resbala d la mano los plasticos d muy buena calidad el motor suena bastate bien son 264w d potencia en mi opinion y en mi experiencia con el uso q le e dado rebasa la categoria d semi profecional como siempre mas q satisfecho con black n decker,me dedico a la carpinteria profecinal tradicional y desde hace 13 años utilizo estamarca y apesar d aver cambiado a uso semi profecinal para mi sigue siendo mi marca preferida realmente resibes mad d lo q pagas

Works well as expected for the price.

Muchas lijas circulares no traen las perforaciones, de modo que no hay cómo perforarlas. Las que son perforadas, no son muy comerciales.
