Maddy's Sweet Shop Lemon Shortbread, cookies, 7-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

Love these cookies

My husband found these in a specialty shop and surprised me with these little gems when I was in the hospital. Unfortunately, I didn't get to taste them until at least a month later because I was put on a special diet, after having surgery. Once I did taste them, however, I was hooked. These are packed with flavor and are not as sweet as they look, instead they are just right and melt in your mouth. Once the family had them devoured, my husband found these on Amazon and surprised me again, this time with a 6 pack! I love that man and I love these cookies! Can't wait to try other flavors! They are not cheap, but they are a special treat. They can also be messy, covered in powered sugar, esp if you wear black ;-)

These cookies are truly scrumptious they’re crisp and then they melt in your mouth into a bit of nothing. They are so flavorful and lovely perfect to have with a nice cup of tea.

The case arrived with the pieces mostly broken and the confectioner's sugar "dusting" all moist, gummy and barely coating the cookies (most of the coating had fallen off). They looked gross, so they ended up NOT being served to guests as a light dessert. Some tasted stale even though they were (barely) in date. The lemon flavor is quite unnatural and the pieces of hard lemon candy baked into these "shortbreads" contributed to this very unnatural flavor. Not a plesant experience and I actually ended up tossing them after tasting the first few boxes. The fact that the shortbreads were broken--very few were whole cookies--added to the disappointment of this purchase. I can't recommend them for these reasons and won't purchase again.

Excellent package all individually datedCartons in good condition all sealed and good best by date. An excellent product.

pack of six, 2 of box is damaged, short bread inside is crashed and crumble like into powder form. it is not edible. it is not returnable. It is good product but it is shame the way AMAZON packed.

These delicious delights tend to only show up in my area around Christmas...what a shame. Although a little pricey in my opinion, they are by far a delectable, scrumptious cookie. I want to try other flavors but I can't get past these raspberry flavored ones. Tons of powdered sugar cap of the delicious raspberry flavored shortbread. Try it, Don't think you'll be disappointed.

I love these so much! The lemon flavor is perfect and the powdered sugar.......need I say more? You have to try them!
