The skirt is soft and holds the ruffles nicely after washing. The only issue with this one is that the waist elastic doesn't have much give and creates a bit of a muffin top. But it's totally workable. Xoxo

I bought this to cosplay as Vanieloppe Von Scheweet because I cannot sew to save my life. I am short but a tad curvy. I am sure if I was a little less middle curvy it would be perfect. As it was I was an adorable Vanieloppe and had a great time! Thanks so much! I have lost some weight and I wear it a bit more with a cute tank top too.

We purchased this for my daughter's Irish dance recital. Everyone dressed the same with a black leatard, skirt and tights. We made colorful sahes for them to wear. For the price the skirt worked perfectly, nice feel and movement, accuarate sizing, and my daughter loved that the wide elastic waistband didn't slip off her hips (she's quite slim). She can totally wear the skirt again as part of her everyday school outfits. I love when we can get double duty froma purchase--those dance outfits can certainly add up.Bridgid

I love how soft this skirt is. It does wrinkle, so it was all wrinkled from the packaging. My daughter wears a 4T pant size, but can wear a 5T without it falling off of her. This fit great, it was a little loose, but not so loose that it would fall off. It was plenty long as well. My daughter is pretty average for a 4 year old girl, and it goes just below her knees.

My 12 year old daughter needed a black skirt for her children's choir performances. I think this skirt runs a little bit short. She's average height for her age, but it was way above her knees. It has a nice elastic waist, so she just pulled it down below her waist and the length was ok when she did that. Other than that she really liked it since she's a girly girl and it has nice swingy layers.

Skirt fit just right. Wanted it like that because my 5 yr. old granddaughter would be having to do the opening and closing with all the other kids so 2 wardrobe changes and would be able to put on without too much hassle. Material is great and doesn't wrinkle. Enough flare for her but if you want more not right. Also fits right to the size so probably good idea to order one size up if you want it to fit next year. Will order again from them.

Very cute. My daughter is about 65% height and 50% weight of her age (71/2) and it fit her perfectly. We bought for a chorus recital and it is perfect.
