Don’t be lazy; you paid less then $100. / delivered.
This is the deal; it’s cheap and I just loss the head; shaft broke right off. Had it three years till today. The feed doesn’t work long but $67 three years ago. All I do is lister for the sound to speed up then flip it over , press the handy red feed button with one hand and pull out line with your other hand, , right lengt. Back in business. Auto feed is wasteful. Comes out to fast anyway and when not necessary .Loading, learn the trip. YouTube. Besides if you want something that works every time. Plenty for $300 and up.

Bad trimmer
Purchased on May 1st 2024. The string does not feed as advertised. Tried to get Toro support to discuss. After 10 minutes on phone with a bot I was told to take to authorized dealer. He rewound the string pushed manual button and 1/4 inch came out. He conveniently did not have an extension cord to try the line feeder. Within 10 minutes the string was gone. Took off cap and string melted together as it had previously. Also, we have medium size lawn. I have spent more time restringing than actual trimming. A bit heavy not for women or elderly. I am very disappointed with Toro for putting this product on the market.I don’t recommend this product.

Looks good, solidly built
Looks good, solidly built...but the trimmer reel design is very flawed. This weed whacker has two lines coming out, one on each side. The spool is divided in half, and two very flimsy, thin strands of blue twine are wrapped...one on the L hand side of the spool, separated by a divider, from an identical wrap on the R hand side. At first, this seems cool...two whacks on the weeds for every revolution. Should cut more efficiently, right ? Nope. The line, which is too thin and too soft.... "goes away" in 10 feet of edging...usually one side of the spool only.............and then it pops back inside. NICE. One must then stop, go get another beer, go sit down, carefully take off the cap, untangle the mess, then rethread the 2 lines. Way more hassle than the 30 year old standard spool design. I have now done this 5 times in one hour...................This is my first use of this trimmer. I finally gave up, pulled all the line off and rewrapped the spool with some generic Home Depot beefy orange cable that has a sharp edge... and surprise...it works just fine. I will now have to take a Drmel tool to the separating plastic barrier and grind it away...... in order to get a full load of cable instead half a load. Did they even test this thing before they put it into production ?

Junk
Am going to call their customer service to see if I can return for refund. The string is supposed to advance if you follow the directions, but never has. Also, it OFTEN gets sucked-in to the reel. I end up stopping and taking it apart to fix the string. JUNK! JUNK! JUNK!

DON'T BOTHER
Worked about two times, then the line keeps getting cut. You have to take the thing apart every 5 min. Horrible design. Don't waste your money like I did.

They need to replace these trimmers with one that is dependable
There isn't much to dislike about this thing except the trimmer head, that doesn't work. You can refill it and it works a few minutes, then it quits and you find that there is no string in the holes. Then you have to take it apart, pulls the string out again and it works awhile again..Sort of reminds me of a '47 Hudson that I once had..

This is a piece of junk
The line feeder worked for about 15 minutes after I bought it. I thought that I could repair almost anything. Not this. You are throwing your money away if you buy this.
