DELTA FAUCET RP2393 Single Lever Handle Kit, 4" x 2.6", Chrome

I could have sworn the description of this "kit" indicated it came with the necessary little wrench. It did not, though it did have the screw, already in place. I took it to the hardware store and they told me which size Allen wrench I needed. It cost 70 cents. I am a newly single woman, not very handy, and was thrilled that I could get and install this part for my Delta faucet all by myself. It has already served me well since 1985, when my house was built. My mother told me to specify Delta, as she had in 1960. As usual, her advice was spot on.

Easy install in minute or so (took longer to open clamshell package than to fit). Much cheaper than plumber for new faucet!

Very straight forward replacement. The handle slips smoothly on the shaft, the set screw tightens on the flat of the shaft.

It does the job, but I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve had to tighten this handle since I’ve gotten it.

Kind of expensive, but fits and works well on most Delta faucets with longer handles.

Needed to replace a Series 275 Quick Snap faucet's rubber seats. Had to cut the original handle off with a hacksaw when the handle's allen screw head lost its hex shape and became totally round over the years. Took the opportunity to replace all the internal parts - faucet works like a new one now. Credit to Delta for a)faucets that last a LONG time, and b)supplying parts for said faucets.Also learned about plumber's grease - made sure to grease the allen screw with plenty of grease, along with covering the head. Chrome doesn't rust BUT hard water deposits will lock a screw in place.

fits perfectly on my 50 + year old delta bath faucet a little longer than the original but that makes it look nicer! I might order another to make the two bathrooms match.

Our old handle broke at the base and this one works better than the original!
