Hoover PortaPower Commercial Shoulder Vac Models C2094 & CH30000 Hose.

The new one fits my old porta power perfectly!Notice in my image, mine is white instead of the latest black :)

I started to give this a 4 out of 5 stars because I had to buy it to replace an old hose but realized I shouldn't because I can't assume this hose will break like the old hose did...maybe it won't..maybe the old hose broke as a fluke...anyways I'll leave it as 5 stars as long as this replacement hose doesn't break and lasts a reasonable amount of time. Should it crack in the ways mentioned below I'll come back and edit my stars. But for now this current hose is a 5 out of 5 stars hose.It's kind of weird to write a review for a vacuum cleaner hose.... It sucks.. bwa ha ha which is more than the old hose I was replacing would do.This is the same hose by Hoover that came with my portable vacuum.I needed to replace my old hose when it broke so I was very pleased to find that was an option.Like I said it's weird to write a review for a new hose as it's almost like writing a review for the old hose that came with the machine....and it's breaking was the reasoning behind getting a replacement hose...so in a way that is good info to have.The original hose cracked in the hose part where the connection was made. I didn't realize until it started sucking at sucking and after determining there was no blockage saw that the suction was reduced because of the crack. It wasn't an easily duct tapeable place to fix either..maybe..but it also had another break that made me trash it and get a new one.The locking ring from the original hose just cracked apart one day and no longer locked the hose on..annoying but we lived with it for a few months.The hose getting the crack and reducing suction is what pushed us over the edge.So...that was the original hose that came with the machine and this is by the same Hoover company and seems like the exact same hose so I think it's worth mentioning those breaks in case they happen with this one too.Other than that it works great. So far no problems with the new one.It is working great and the fantastic suction my machine had after hooking this up made me realize my old hose must have started breaking before I was aware of it.

I bought my Hoover PortaPro 30+ years ago, it still runs perfect, the only issue was the hose which had cracked at both ends after all that time. I was now, after all that time, to replace that hose with this new improved "expandable stretch" style and we're up and running again . . . Thanks !!!

I was in desperate need of "new" tools for my Hoover PortaPower. Still works perfectly after all of these years and was hesitant to spend the money to purchase a completely NEW vacuum. Was skeptical at first, thinking these attachments couldn't possibly fit a tool that old, but everything that I purchased fit perfectly and I'm very pleased with the quality of the item and the results. Thank you.

Buena calidad

This is a very solid, flexible hose that fits all of the attachments of the original hose. There is no suction adjustment on the nozzle but I seldom used that feature on my original hose.
