We were truly amazed at the quality of the materials that were used in constructing this accent piece of furniture. It took us about 20 minutes to assemble it with no difficulty at all. Kitty approved, too!

I was looking for more storage in our bedroom when I found this. I was a little more than I wanted to spend BUT I am glad I did. This is solid wood and fairy heavy. It was very easy to assemble and had all the tools you need right there in the package. It was put together in about 30 minutes, counting reading the directions. I will say that when you assemble it dont tighten your bolts down till you have all of them in place then tighten all of them down. Also I did have a bit of a problem aligning the panels in the front and back so it would all come together. I used a hammer and a small board on top of the panel to tap it down in place...go easy on it so you dont crack or chip it....thus the board and a small hand towel over the board and 2 taps and it was in place. There were some manufacturers defects with wood sealant filling in the bolt holes and side panel slots. Once fixed, assembly went quickly. The bench is just the right size to fit is an entry nook or behind a wing chair and has enough storage room for around 6 pairs of adult shoes and a couple pairs of ladies boots. Probably not large enough to store pairs of men's boots. Sturdy enough for the men to sit on while putting on shoes. Does not have a locking hinge on lid. Looks good while clearing up shoe clutter by the doorway. Recommended.

This is great. Now I can sit by the bed and tie my shoes.

This bench is beautiful. My husband put it together in less than 10 minutes and he was impressed with the quality. He never says that about anything I order online! This bench is heavy and it is worth the price. I'm very happy with this!

The holes don't line up on the frame and the seat, so it can not be used to sit on and can't support any weight. The wood of the seat is cracked as well with a very poor attempt to cover the damage. The handles are scratched and have areas of missing and smudged laquer. Very disappointed in the poor quality. The design is beautiful, however, the quality control is lousy and the bench is completely unusable. My other 2 similar smaller benches with the shallow seat storage did not have issues.

This is a beautiful, sturdy bench. Exactly what I was hoping for! Great storage under the bench seat, and it was easy to put together. It is heavy so it does not slide when people take a seat to put shoes on.

This is a beautiful product however I VERY disappointed in this purchase!!!! I received the bench and when I took it out of the box, the entire bench wood pieces all looked like it had been previously damaged and glued back together. Where the bolts were it was glued and you could see where cracks had previously occurred or the wood split entirely. For the side handle parts there was a huge gap due to the previous damage. The wood pieces had finger prints and dirt stained into the wood. Returned the item however I am now unable to purchase another one as it seems to be no longer available. The ones that are available from other sellers are double the price. Not happy at all!
