Great phone, underrated!
I'm really pleased with this phone. I admit, as per a previous poster, I received a (perhaps early unit?) with noticeable dead pixels on the screen. Yes they are very tiny - but do bug me! Amazon customer service was excellent, very swiftly changed. No problems with the replacement, great screen, everything works, excellent build quality - I'm glad I stuck with it. It's not an OLED or AMOLED screen but, having compared to such screens, I can't really see much difference? Yes perhaps the front 'bezels' could be less - I wouldn't quite call them 'dated', they're not as sleek as some current new phones - HTC should have made them a little smaller. But, I like the fact that the control buttons are built into the bottom bezel, and are not onscreen buttons; I've used such phones before and never found many apps that would easily hide them when not in use, so it just seems wasted screen estate? And the fingerprint sensor I also much prefer on the front. It's just easier, and if I have the phone lying on the desk, I can just touch it once to wake the screen and see lockscreen info (which gives more detail than most 'always on' displays?). I read a theory that this bezel space allows for better stereo speakers. Not convinced of that however, I love the speakers! I use the phone a lot at home with the speakers on, rather than using a headset, and the sound is impressive, and loud, for a phone at least. Camera really is excellent, the reviews are right, and the other thing I really like - is the squeeze! Now that they've opened up the customisation, you can do such a lot with it. I travel on the train a lot, usually having to stand (!), so it's great to be able to grip the phone firmly with my one free hand, and just squeeze to do different things (depending on which app you're in, whether the phone is horizontal or vertical, etc). It's genius, much better than trying to stretch a thumb or finger to a part of the screen. Finally, I don't know to explain this, but I just like the 'feel' of this phone. It's like a large pebble in your hand. Yes, it is glass so, I'm very wary of dropping it (but have resisted using a case, so far so good!). It's just nice to hold, and the screen feels 'velvety' if that makes sense, it's just nice! I have a white one so, not the most exciting back I guess, I like it though! A quality phone, I don't understand why some people choose to knock it so. I would buy it again given the choice.

very happy. Not only REAL photo quality
As a photography enthusiast, I have owned Lumia phones for years, but now they are gone andIcouldn't find an Android phone that would get even close to them in photography quality, no matter what adverts of the big names try to convince you of... Finally I have found their successor. I'm very impressed so far, very happy. Not only REAL photo quality, but also the phone itself is clever, beautiful, fast and very well made in all other aspects. Easy to use, top with music. Thank you HTC,great piece of tech. It's sucha same that other brands get away with the number one just from tv commercials, fads and people ignorance.. (people believe now that you make better photos if there are two lenses instead of one... Not true folks, neither a 18:9 ratio is better, you are wasting top and bottom with black frames... Absurd)

HTC u11 great all-rounder!
Used to replace previous u11 that had started to play up after several years use. Easy to transfer everything over.

Noise cancellation for cheap HTC headphones only
A terrible phone:1. no headphone port but this appears to be standard. Non HTC headphones don't work with adaptor.2. Apps constantly freeze and there is an issue with email notifications.3. The phone is like a slippery fish and is constantly sliding off the edge of tables. This is just a useless phone that states it has noise cancellation but only for the flimsy HTC headphones it provides.

Htcu11
Bought to replace my existing htcu11 which has gone off to HTC for repair. I have been very impressed with this phone it all works perfectly. Was brand new ( doesn't come with HTC accessories but I have them anyway) as the boom sound audio technology is impressive with the HTC u sonic earplugs , this is a feature that Htc always excelled in and you cannot get phones with audio this impressive. I would imagine with health and safety regulations probably only half the volume of this these days . I still have HTC m7 and m9 as music players they can't be beaten. Quality of audio is just as brilliant in the HTC u11 . Also great when you play videos in theatre mode ☺️. Try a few movie trailers ! I find the squeeze technology very useful kept mine set to take photo or video. It can be turned off but I like this feature. You can still get hold of HTC via their website and I find them very helpful. They have organized repair of my old one .

Great phone. No issues.
Very happy with my HTC U11 - replacing an HTC One. Without a cover, it will slide off of any surface you lay it on, but this is a minor issue. In all other ways it works well. It charges very quickly and battery lasts well.

Great phone!
Have been a fan of HTC phones for many years and when the time finally came to replace my M10 I was keen to give the U11 a try. HTC phones are not widely available via UK phone contracts and the newer U12 was outside my budget. I can say I am very pleased with the U11. The camera and sound quality are both great.

Great phone
Bought to replace my HTC 10 as getting old and the battery was failing. Can't comment on all the features as not tried them all yet. I love these Android phones and this was a good price for a brand new phone
