I've been buying this Irish oatmeal for a few months now. Oatmeal has always been a difficult one for me due to the texture. I can't always tolerate it. When it comes to McCann's, the oats are smaller and the texture to me is chewier yet creamy. Perfect. Unfortunately, there isn't a single store in my area that carries them, so luckily I can find it on Amazon. I was running low and went to order it again when I saw this 2 pack at a really great price. I didn't hesitate. It arrived the next day and was packaged well with no dings or dents in the cans. The expiration is a little over a year away. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Very much like the convenience of the nearly instant oatmeal. Great flavor and texture. Highly recommend this product.

This cooks well if you follow the directions. I do like it a little thinner, so I add more water when cooking it. May just be my own senses, but it seems to have a slight aftertaste of the package it comes in; I will try storing it in a bottle or plastic canister. And I do love serving it with fresh fruit stirred into the bowl!

I first had this oatmeal at Harrahs in AC. I asked the server what brand of oatmeal was this. He went back to the kitchen and brought out your box of McCanns steel cut oatmeal. I’ve Ben hooked on it ever since. It has helped e doubly by losing my belly fat and with my constipation. I’m 92 now and I can truthfully say that your oatmeal is making me feel like 29.

Something special about Irish oats. I make overnight oats. Didn’t know if I would like cold oatmeal. Turns out I love it! Mixed with milk, some Greek yogurt , few chia seeds and some sliced banana and I add some berries. Delicious!

Tastes great and easy to prepare. I don't cook it for 5 minutes as suggested. Maybe 3 minutes because I prefer a chewy texture. You can so many things to it. Berries, nuts, seeds, or I like peanut butter. It makes it nice and creamy.
