Sakkas Sundara Stonewashed Rayon Embroidered Mid Length Dress

I love this dress. I usually am a size 16/18 and I’m 5’4”. I got this in a 1x/2x and it fits great! Make sure to wash before you wear because the dye will rub off. Also, be careful with the dress and make sure to hand wash because my dress tore at the bottom because I didn’t follow directions. Easy enough to fix though! I will definitely buy more from this store.

This dress is so gorgeous and I was impressed with the fit. The 1x/2x fits more like a 2x, which was good because I usually fit a 2x or 3x and wasn't sure which to get. If you have a very large chest or a wide waist, consider sizing up. The back of the bodice is stretchy so there is some room for larger chests but the waist is not stretchy at all so if you're in an "apple shaped" body there may be some discomfort when you sit, bend, etc. The uneven hem is so pretty! The shortest part was about mid thigh on me, and parts of the fabric are sheer, so a taller person may find they need shorts or tights underneath for full coverage. The color is amazing and I love the shiny thread throughout the embroidery on the front. Very pleased that it's just metallic thread so I don't have to worry about tiny beads falling off. This dress is going to make it's debut as part of a fairy costume for an event, but I'm definitely going to wear it again and again!

Such a beautiful and comfortable dress, possibly the prettiest I've ever owned!This one does have more of a smell than the other pieces I ordered from this brand, but it is made with Rayon so that is expected due to the manufacturing processes and will dissipate with time.The issue with this dress is the arm holes- they gap at the sides which gives the illusion of it being too large. In reality, this is just because the straps are too long, and I will be fixing it by shortening them- I took a picture holding them up to be shorter so you can kind of see how it helps to pull the excess fabric in under your arms.It's a bit longer on me than the photos looked, so bear that in mind as I am not short- I'm 5'6, and the shortest point of the hem reaches just below the knee on me. However it is a good length on me and has lovely glow and movement so I don't mind!This dress is really comfy and is made of a thin, soft T-shirt type material. It seems breathable enough for summer but not too thin for cooler months. It's very versatile and I can see myself dressing it up for evenings as well as wearing it casually as a daytime sundress!!

I love this style of dress. I bought this dress because I have a similar in a rusty-red color and love it. The design of the dress is awesome for contra dancing or any other kind of dancing in which you'd like to have a super twirly skirt. My other dress doesn't have the bodice separate from the skirt at the waist like this one; it has vertical panels instead, which is more flattering for me since I have a larger stomach. Since I put a belt on these anyway, it doesn't bother me that much.Attention!: if you're going to twirl in this dress, please know that it will show off your entire body below the bodice. Wear shorts, leggings, or sexy underwear, whatever you want... but know that it will be seen. The skirt will be parallel to the floor when you twirl, but it will be level with your waist. Personally, I love this and is exactly why I bought it.The lacing on the bodice in the front will not do much to tighten the dress. Personally, I don't like how it ties at the top as the really long ties will bounce against my chest. So, instead I re-laced it the other way and it ties at my waist, which I prefer.I didn't know this when I bought it, but this dress has ties on each side of the waist so one can tie them in back (or front, whatever you like, I suppose). Not what I wanted, but they don't bother me. Could easily be removed if it was bothersome.The royal blue color is vibrant and beautiful and I love it. I might buy another one of these dresses, just because it's so awesome. Rayon fabric is awesome for me. Be careful on the first wash or two! These dresses sometimes have excess dye in them and can bleed super easily. I wear this dress for contra dancing, which in July is the most sweat-inducing activity I can think of. It's cool and every guy I dance with loves dancing with me because of the dress -- they like watching it twirl!Ok, long review. Boiling it down: buy it. I think it's awesome.

This is truly a beautiful dress, and I'm so sad that it did not fit me. I got the 1x/2x, and if they had one size up, it would have fit me. I'm 5'10, 275 lbs, 40c bra, size xl-1x top, size 20-22 pants. The top part was a little too snug, but the flowy bottom was fine besides the length. It would have been too short for church but ok for weekends and outings. The shortest part in the front hit about one third of the way up my thigh, and the shortest part in the back hit about halfway. But the lower panel was sheer as in the photo so the opaque part hit just below my butt. Maybe ok for those who don't have a butt that pokes out as much as mine lol. The quality of the material was very nice and there was no weird odor. It just smelled like new clothing. Wish they had one size up!

This is a lovely dress. It fits me very well, and is substantial, lined, and really just so pretty! I would have one in every color if I could. HOWEVER: be aware that as noted in many other reviews, it is not very well made. I hand washed it, gently, thoroughly, but very carefully, in a bucket of cold water to get some of the dye out. Rolled it in a towel for a few hours, and hung up on a hanger outside to dry in the breeze for an afternoon. Some of the sparkly thread had come unravelled from the bodice, and TWO HOLES at the waistline developed. I hadn't even worn it, but just hanging up it separated at the waistline??? I am good at sewing and fussy work and will probably make the repairs as best I can, but I'm really disappointed this pretty dress I haven't even worn is falling apart already.If it is defective and you don't want to, or can't, repair - I say SEND IT BACK to the company as unacceptable. It doesn't cost a lot, but you should be able to wear it, shouldn't you?

Cette robe noire est magnifique avec une coupe superbe et le tissus élastique est de très belle qualité. Elle a de très beaux détails, est vraiment travaillée.Je taille 50 et j'ai pris la plus grande taille : 1X-2X, car j'avais peur qu'elle soit trop petite, mais en fait elle est même un peu trop grande. Cela ne me gène pas, car je déteste être serrée dans mes vêtements.Elle vaut largement son prix.Comme conseillé par d'autres clientes, avant de la porter il faut absolument la laver à froid, dans un tissus de lavage afin de préserver sa délicatesse , afin de fixer la couleur et d'éliminer les substances indésirables.

The dress looks good. I would suggest maybe handwash or delicate cycle in the washing machine. Unfortunately, the dress is too large for me and I will return it.

Turquoise dress, the color is so uplifting! Very comfortable too!!! I just had foot surgery and I love wearing these dresses around the house.

I have 2 of these dresses. This is very comfortable, fit nice after a wee shrinking. I usually wear a large/ xlarge so this was a bit big but the large/xlarge was too small. The waist sits a bit high which is perfect for me.
