Mirafit Power Rack Workout Cage & Cable System - Black or Silver

The Mira fit Power rack cage is a great piece of equipment. I put this into my gym workout space and have to say its one of the best pieces of equipment I have ever bought. The quality is good for the price and I would say this would suit any home gym. This is good however not commercial standard, as the frame is too weak for a commercial gym.The other features of the cage are the cable pulley system, I can do pretty much every exercise lat pull down, back rows. Only issue with this is that you are restricted with the weight loads I would say the maximum load is around 100kg, also the bars that hold the weights are 1 inch bars for the smaller weighted plates. Of course you can use the olympic style plates as I do, but these will move around and aren't a tight fit to the bar.I do like the added connection bars for holding the plates which are located at the back of the frame.The power cage is ideal for bodyweight exercises like pull ups, chin ups and hanging knee raises.For the price you cant go wrong.

This is a great piece of kit. Easy enough to assemble. I searched everywhere for a decent power cage with a pulley system and the prices can be ridiculous. At £178.99 this is a bargain. I don't normally leave reviews but felt this deserves it. The only issue I have had is the bench I brought for this is very long and as the depth of the cage isn't that big I am unable to do incline presses within the cage. Flat or decline presses are fine. Something to think about when purchasing the bench.

Overall I'm happy with it must only gripe is the pully system gets in the way for spotters when benching and also gets in your way for squatting from normal position I've figured tho squatting from the opposite side to pully you can get a spotter in easy but you will have to go easy on the bench for that reason I'll knock a star off but it is solid.

Excellent quality product. Only complaints i would have, there are no numbers beside the holes for so hard to see if bars in same holes. & bar for holding legs down while using lat pull down moves around too much.

Had it over a year now and still going strong, Had no problems with it.

Just set up the rack - without pulley. You get a photocopied manual with the kit. There's a list of nuts, bolts and parts on page 1. Building the rack is split up into 4 sets of instructions, 1 to 4. Got to instruction 3, pretty straightforward, but 4, to install the pulley??? Hieroglyphics.The kit looks sturdy enough but the instructions are rotten. I'm taking no chances making assumptions. I can't locate any Youtube videos showing me how to set it up either.Update 27/3/2015: needed a hand to set up the pulley, took a lot of trial and error to get there. Works fine now. Lat pulldown and cable bent over rows were fine.Update 2/4/2015: used the rack for bench press last night. I found my standard fitness bench wasn't suitable for bench press with the rack, as the "feet" of the bench were too long, and made the actual bench sit further forward than I wanted. The result was that as I lay on the bench the bar was behind my head, and so getting the barbell above my chest ready for the bench press movement was difficult. I wouldn't expect the same issue for seated shoulder press though, as there are other "pins" you can insert at the front of the rack.I recommend if you are planning on using the rack for bench pressing, please check the "head" of your bench sits underneath the pins that will hold the barbell.I swapped a dedicated bench press bench into the rack space and it fitted OK, but there was not much arm room. 6ft long barbells fit this rack nicely.I achieved my bench workout in safety, which is the main thing.

It would be 5 stars if the delivery was more clearer it came in 2 packages and then 3 came week after with the manual and 4 main bars.. but the cage is fairly sturdy and the pulley is great. with manual I haven't had problems what so ever. The safety bar looks and feel solid.
