Stainless Steel Copper Roller Mouth Eggbutt Snaffle Bit, 5", 5"

Nicely made. My OTTB seems to like it, after having tried several others. I think the roller helps him to relax.

Haven’t rode it in yet but I tried it on my mare today she’s used to a single jointed snaffle and I wanted something that she could play with. She didn’t really have a reaction but you could definitely tell she liked to roll it I think she’s just learning how it works and it probably a little confused. She gets quite worried with anything new so hopefully this transition goes well! She tends to make bits look huge but it’s an okay size I wish there was an option to make the cheek pieces a bit smaller tho

My horse loves this bit, the difference between the old corkscrew bit the old owners used and this bit is like night and day. Highly recommend it.

Seems like a well built bit, but my horse hates it. Disclaimer, this is the first double jointed bit I have tried so this review may be for others who have not tried one before. I also.realize not all bits are for even horse some just won't work for yours but may be the saving grace for another.My experience: The bit is very noisy. My horse doesn't play with her single jointed snaffle, but this is squeaky and clanky and she seems to be very distracted by it. We have a few rides on it now and it seems to be a little better, but she still lowers her head and just mouths at it constantly. To the point where she will break gait over it. I switched back to her old bit and she smoothed right out.I gave it 3 stars because it seems like a decent representation of the type of bit is, but it just doesn't work for me.

The craftsmanship is very good and was very easy to set up on headstall. I ordered it before I went on vacation and it came extremely fast arriving the day after I left. Can't wait to try it out on my horse.

I had a hard time finding a bit my horse would accept. This is the one he likes. Good for me because the price is just great.

I really like this bit. It works really well for my mouth sensitive mare who has a history of previous riders being rough with her mouth. Very gentle and helps us have a good connection. Of course, gentle hands are most important, but this bit helps a lot.

I've been trying to find a bit my horse likes for a while. He got the idea in his head bits are bad because the first one we tried pinched his tongue. It was a single joint bit. This one I tried for the first time the other day and he actually didn't put up a huge fight! Then yesterday, I went to put the bit in and he just took it from me! We're still learning how to respond to pressure from the bit, but so far so good! He's been INCREDIBLE with this bit. VERY happy customer and horse. Definitely buying this bit again.
