New Look Sewing Pattern 6000 Misses' Dresses, Size A (4-6-8-10-12-14-16)

Very easy to follow. Loved the cuff detail. I use the finished garment measurements to decide which size to cut. Dress is fairly fitted and I find it best if the finished chest is about 2" more than your chest measurement (also finished waist should be 2 to 3 inches more than your waist measurement). People who complained about the sizing are people who just used their regular clothes size and did not actually measure, which anybody who sews will know is a no no.

I was impressed with myself after completing my first dress from this pattern. My only complaint is I am a size 6 and that size ran small for me. Overall though, vety clear instructions and quite easy

Be very aware of the sizing of this pattern. Measure and re-measure, both the pattern and your body. I normally wear a size 0 Petite or 2 Petite. I cut out the pattern for size 4. It was at least 5" too narrow in the bust line, waist and hips. Also, the darts at the bust line form a "pointed" shape. Very disappointed.
