Can't recommend this book enough!!
Postpartum Mamas, feeling off? Get this book. It seriously helps so much. The book is well-written and it doesn't take long to read a few pages. The author, Karen Kleiman, does a great job helping you understand what you're feeling, why you're feeling it, and what to do about it. She carefully pairs encouragement with validation to make you feel less alone and less crazy. This book has become my go-to baby shower gift.

A must for a new mom!
Great, fast, fun read! As a second time mom I enjoyed reading this book and reconnecting with the fact that almost all moms are struggling. I am gifting my copy to my sister in law, who is due in September

Worth giving
Too many new others don’t understand that the “scary thoughts“ that come with motherhood are very common so they don’t want to talk about them. This book can give a good outlet to such a person. Ideally rather than read the book a new mom would talk to a trusted family member, friend or therapist but sometimes that’s not doesn’t seem possible. I would HIGHLY encourage every new mother to read this book AND find someone they can trust to talk to very openly.

A Must-Read for New Moms
Good Moms Have Scary Thoughts is an incredibly reassuring and honest book that every new mom should read. It normalizes the intrusive thoughts and overwhelming emotions that many mothers experience but rarely talk about. The mix of supportive advice, humor, and relatable illustrations makes it easy to digest, even when running on little sleep.I appreciate how this book encourages open conversations about postpartum mental health and provides practical tools to cope. It made me feel seen, understood, and less alone in my journey. Highly recommend for new moms and those supporting them.
