Total disappointment
I was really happy when I found this set on Amazon and cheaper than other websites. The item is described as “espresso” in color but, as you can see by my photos, it is not. Looks more like a dark cherrywood or something similar but, not espresso. I placed it on top of my espresso tv stand and you can really see the difference. I was really looking forward to having this set in my home unfortunately, I now have to return it because it is much lighter than my other espresso furniture pieces. I also found a few chips and scratches which I honestly wouldn’t have cared too much about had the color been correct/as described.

The idea behind the tables is good. The shape and size and glass are all fine. The finish, unfortunately, is poor quality. In the light of day imperfections like dried running stain marks can be seen on the legs. We moved it to the basement family room where there is less light. Had the finish been better, I would have rated the tables higher.

For the price -- Impressed!
Anytime you buy a Living Room table set of three for around $400 CAD, you assume you will probably get what you pay for. I was wrong! We have been looking at comparable sets for double the price and MORE! Although the courier delivered the package all tattered and torn, there were no scratches, no nicks, no cracked or scratched or broken glass. All Intact! and when finally put together (minus a few washers that disappeared out of the packaging enroute), the tables are beautiful. The beveled edge tempered glass fits perfectly. Definitely a nice addition to our home.
