So easy to fix and delicious!!!

Preparation is simple. You mix the contents of the package with one cup of water, heat it, stir it and then heat it some more - and let it cool down.What you find is noodles in chcken broth that look roughly the size of a grain of rice, a few rehydrated carrots and onions, and probably a little bit of chicken. It's simple to make, and probably worth the price compared to the alternatives. By itself, it's not enough for a meal, but is easy to digest.

I cooked 8 oz. of sliced mushrooms with some chunks of cooked chicken breast I got from Costco (their rotisserie chicken meat that they sell in 42 oz. packages) along with a teaspoon of powdered porcini mushrooms, 8 cups of boiling water, the soup mix packet, and finished with a little half and half.It is really good, and will last for quite a few meals. Is it healthy? Not as healthy as home made, I’m sure, but ready in short order. The mushroom powder and half and half were additions from the first time I made the soup. I didn’t add very much, but it made a huge difference in the richness of flavor. I will definitely add more vegetables next time, possibly slivered carrot and peas.The soup on its own lacks something, but this mix can easily be enhanced with ingredients from your refrigerator and pantry.

I have made my homemade chili for years. My husband decided that he liked Wendy’s chili better. But I don’t want to run to Wendy’s every time I want a pot of chili! I found this Bear claw chili mix And made a pot of chili! My husband said it was better than mine and better than Wendy’s! I could not find it again, so I ordered it! Of course I did add a few things to it, but it is wonderful!

Love the fact I can take them camping also, just need to make sure water is very hot (boiling) and stir well. They taste great love them.

Tastes good. I sauté diced onions, carrots and celery and add more water than recommended. No regrets.

Probably because these are on a much smaller scale than the large bags; they come out thin and not all the way done. Potatoes were gummy. Large bags come out thick, creamy and potatoes are soft and done.

I love this soup because it can stand alone or be added to another cream soup. First found it in Costco but they've stopped selling it.SO glad to discover that I can order it through Amazon!

Loved the soup

When I ordered the 6 packages of creamy potato, I received 3 creamy potato and 3 tortilla. So disappointed. I love the creamy potato.
