Weber7549 Premium Cover, Fits Genesis Grill with Island Cabinetry

Glad I found this cover...very difficult to find. Weber does not carry it anymore.

I am not sure why I had a hard time finding the right cover for my grill, but once again Amazon came through. The cover is the right fit. So happy. Thank you!

I purchased this cover over four years ago and the exterior of my weber grill still looks great. I like that it only covers the top part leaving me easy access to the cabinets on the bottom. The Velcro, straps, and hooks secure the cover very well and I have never had a problem with it getting loose. I did however get lazy one day and decided not to hook the back. Bad idea!! It got really windy and the hooks starting dangling around in the middle of the night, hitting the back of the grill over and over and over again. My husband made me get out of bed to hook them in...haha. Lesson learned.Updated 7/27/2016: The images attached to this review shows the cover after 4 years of use. The cover can get quite filthy but at least it's protecting the grill which is the most important part!

Bought this cover 6/23/2018. Just noticed that the vinyl gets very hard and has a tendency to split after cooling down following a very hot, sunny day. Cover has also shrunk and requires strong pull to stay fixed in place. Any suggestions?Marc T.

The cover fits the grill very well. It has Velcro fasteners on one end, and the other end is shaped to hold tightly over the grill. It has two Velcro fasteners on the front, and two metal hooks on the back. It has already been through a nice storm without coming off. Do check it closely though, as the first one that arrived had one of the fasteners sewn on backwards. Amazon customer service took care of us though, and the replacement arrived within a week. Overall it is worth the money, and I like that it is easy to put on the grill.

the fit is perfect for my Weber with the two cabinets on the side. Easy to remove and Easy to put on - IMPORTANT or it doesn't get used. Vinyl cover gets hard after exposure to the elements. I have purchased 2 over the past 3 years.

I bought one of these for my new grill and I'm very pleased with the quality and the ease of use. I've stuggled with other large bulky covers in the past so it's nice to cover and uncover this grill in no time. It is a bit unusual that this cover leaves the cabinetry exposed to the elements, but my grill is under my screened-in covered porch, so this one meets my needs perfectly. For those who store their grill outside, it would be nice to see some sort of separate removable skirt to use in addition to this cover.

Admittedly, a full-length cover for a grill with the side-cabinets would be a little unwieldy, but it does a good job of covering the important bits. The velcro straps that go around the handles are a little awkward. I'd almost rather see some stretchy straps and vinyl-coated hooks. They'd be faster, and just as secure.Otherwise, the quality of the cover is great. It fits perfectly.

If you ar going to pay for a bbq of this size and quality you'd be daft not to protect it properly. This cover is well made, fits perfectly, and is simple to put on and take off - no fiddling around. I've deducted a star one the grounds that I'd have preferred the cover to extend a little further towards the ground, but that is personal nit-picking - it works perfectly well as it is. Recommended.
