WOODRIVER Project Kit - Coffee Scoop, Chrome

After buy several other types because for the cheaper cost I decided to bit the bullet and try this brand they are worth the added money and came out way better then we had hoped. Since buy the first 2 we have purchased several more of their products. Our sales have bounced up and we owe it to this quality product thanks heaps and we will be ordering more in the near future.

A nice kit for the price, delivered ahead of schedule. already made the scoop and gave it away for a hostess gift with some pricey coffee from an upscale food store. See how it came out over at escultor.space for some pictures.

Instructions on how to assemble would help the beginner.

I made a scoop using a wood lathe and this kit. Assembly is very easy since you only need to drill a hole in the handle to fit the shank of the scoop and then bond them together using 2-part epoxy glue.I will probably buy more of this item, although I think it is overpriced given that it is plated cast metal -- unknown alloy -- and not stainless steel.Also, the capacity of this scoop is very small -- nominally one tablespoon. A slightly larger model would be welcome by many coffee lovers that I know!

this is the best quality coffee scoop for turning that I have ever used will derfinitely be buying many many more

I really wanted to like this scoop, I turned a walnut handle for it and it looks great, but in order to scoop the coffee for a full pot or even a half I have to scoop twice as many scoops… the scoop is too small.

Solid chrome scoop- worked great with walnut!

This is a remarkably poorly machined item. The exterior of the cup is good, but the interior is rough. The base of the ferrule-where the metal portion meets your turned handle-has a linear ridge that prevents it from seating flush. Keep shopping-but not for this particular product.
