Good product and good company
We bought two of these. It is great that they can be mounted in the ceiling, even in an attic with insulation above. The heaters are well made and installed easily. And they work exactly as expected. Also, we sent questions to the manufacturer, prior to our purchase. They responded in less than a day with very useful information. They understood our questions and gave precise answers. (A similar email to their main competitor still has no response after about 6 weeks...) And King made it clear that they were open to any other questions we had or support we needed. Good company and good product equals 5 stars from us.

3 minute heater/Hole in your cealing
DO not buy this piece of sh.t, it over heats its self in 3 to 5 minuets,it is a well known problem with the manufacture there solution is for u to drop it down out of the ceiling from flush two 2 inches of the galvanized housing showing, this provides the piece of junk with more cool intake air and will then run without shutting of or just surface mount the dam thing to the ceiling....... YES this is how they want you to mount it....... thats why at the very bottom of the instruction sheet that comes with it there is a part number for a white powder coated rough housing.

This heater was simple to install and looked good when completed
This heater was simple to install and looked good when completed. I had a hard time finding a 220V bathroom heater, but this one filled the bill very nicely. My customer was pleased as well.

Best suited for a cheap trailer home or camper
Noisy. You must install about 3/4 of an inch down although the instructions say 1/2 down or it breathes heated air and automatically shuts down.Even then it shuts down a lot.Extremely annoying.Bought as a pre heat for my bathroom on cold days.Works but is noisy and annoying.

Small and quiet ceiling heater
I bought this unit after I tried 2 other units made by Air King and NuTone. I was not happy with either the Air King or NuTone units and returned them primarily because they looked cheaply made...with plastic internals and plastic grate covering. I was primarily looking for a unit that was no bigger than 9x14" rough in, so I didn't have a lot of options. This unit, although 240V can also support 120V. Other models made by King are available too.Why this unit is better than the Air King or NuTone is that there are no plastic parts in this unit. Everything is metal. Its smaller and has similar output. It is also significantly quieter than those two. The NuTone was EXTREMELY loud. The Air King was better, but still noisy. This King model is almost imperceptible when it comes to sound. The only downside of this unit is that it doesn't come with bells and whistles like a light or night light. It does one thing - heat fan, thats all.

The Heater Burnt out within 5 days of use
Do not recommend this product. I installed it end of March. Did not use it as it was not as cold. In November when it got cold. I used it only for maybe 5 days and it blew up on me. It burnt out.

Ugly
Not needing a fan (our bathroom already has ventilation), I just needed something relatively small and clean looking for our bathroom. This appeared to fit the bill based on the description. Turns out this is not very nice looking. It's has a very industrial feel. The vents are at a 90 degree angle and have wide slits. When you look up into the unit from most angles you can see all the parts and motors in plain sight. This would perhaps be better if the vents were adjustable to hide the insides. But, alas, they are immovable. There's also quite a bit of wasted space within the unit that could be reduced to make the unit more compact. It seems that there really aren't any nice looking ceiling heaters on the market anywhere that also aren't huge. I ended up going with a wall heater that looks much nicer but is, in my opinion, not as ideal as a nice looking ceiling heater would be. This is just not it.Return was easy through amazon.
