Super excited to grow this!

I have a coworker who has a BEAUTIFUL Philodendron sprawling down the side of her cubicle—when I saw that and chatted with her about the ease of care, I knew I had to get one for my workspace as well! I’m trying to turn my gray, boring cubicle into a more colorful, welcoming place—plants help bring life into any space! I was excited to find this type of plant online, I ordered it (also ordered a palm) Wednesday and just received them today! (Saturday) Winter is starting to loosen its grip on Michigan, but the days are still mid 30’s, so I was nervous that if someone was not home to bring the package in, the plants would suffer. After opening the box (and reading some reviews) I was happy to see a few heating pads were thrown into the box to keep the plants warm! Thank you! Not much soil shifted, seller used scotch tape to seal the pot. Thank you! I’ve repotted the plant into another four incher, and added some additional potting soil, until I decide what else I’d like to put it in before I take it into work! The leaves were a little dusty and a few had some white residue, I used a wet paper towel with dish soap and cleaned off the residue. There are two torn leaves and one that is yellowing, hopefully I will be able to bring it back! He’s sitting in the sun right now (see photo). Excited to see what he will become!!

My philodendron is so beautiful!

I have a difficult apartment because my living room has only one big window, with only west facing. The west side is shadowed, half of the afternoon, by the other side of my building on the west side. Basically the sun I get is not enough for growing plants. Well acccept with a grow light... My philo loves any place I put her and grows very well. She sits on my fireplace mantle now and looks so great!Love my plant, Susan

From California to Ohio - A Long Trip

The plant arrived with plenty of dirt but a bit dry, which was no surprise considering the distance it had to travel. It also was a pale color, but after careful care--my wife replanted it immediately in potting soil, watered but didn't feed it for weeks, then gave it diluted food every 10 days or so over a six week period, see the photos:My wife took the first photo just after she replanted it. The 2nd photo was taken about five weeks later just after she fed it diluted food in water; it is draining in a spaghetti strainer. The last photo shows it over her desk after it had drained enough to put back in place. The plant is even fuller now. It looks like it'll keep growing throughout the winter 'dormant' period. My wife bought three plants in late summer and kept them separate which turned out to be a smart move because two of three--NONE CAME FROM JMBamboo, had diseases. This heart philodendron is robust, shows no signs of any problems. My wife plans to buy from JMBamboo again for plants she can't get from a local nursery. The only caveat? Be careful not to buy during a hot spell if you live far from California; it's expecting too much for most plants to make that kind of trip and show up in decent shape.

Does not like cold (AC cold), needs indirect sunlight.

Came in the mail August of 2011...a Lil lifeless... but to be expected from California to Texas in mail. I'll admit. My first time buying a plant via mail... took a few weeks to get em up to par... then later he almost died due to root rot... it's not very bright in my home like I'd like but being in San Antonio Texas... we have to have the shades drawn because of the triple digit heat. Sooo, I re-potted him, new soil... and put him on the porch. He does not get direct sunlight... but this guy was so forgiving... and look how beautiful he is! We got him as a leaflet no bigger than a soda can and WOW! I'm absolutely proud of him. Now he's getting too big for his britches and gonna have to find another solution here soon. The leaves are so big and beautiful. I didn't realize how big this guy was gonna get??! 😳 So this is how big from 8/2021 to now July/2022...11 months in with a couple of bad juju moments...❤🥰 definitely worth it!!!

[UPDATED REVIEW w/ PHOTO] Arrived well packed, has been growing with little care ever since

I have never had an easier houseplant to take care of. It seems to put out a new leaf every day or two! Just don’t over-water. SO EASY!UPDATE:I’ve added a photo of what my heart leaf philodendron looks like now exactly 1 year after receiving from seller. I haven’t repotted it at all, and the vines actually extend beyond what is shown in the photo. It hangs in a south-facing window (I live in NYC), so it gets a lot of direct sunlight and therefore needs a lot of water. I suspect it also needs a lot of water to support such a large plant whose pot is so small. I just haven’t seen any reason to re-pot yet, as it is still thriving. I think I’ve lost maybe 2-3 leaves in total and that happened when I first got the plant and it was acclimating. This is truly the easiest houseplant I own. I couldn’t recommend a better option for a beginner or anyone who wants a lot of green with little maintenance.

Wonderful!

I forgot to take a picture when I first got it! But it’s been repotted and I’ve had it for 2-3 months now and it’s doing well! It came well packaged and in great condition and has been doing well!

Was in good health

I was worried about ordering a living plant but it came wrapped in plastic and was in really good shape. Definitely will order another plant.

I have several of these

They are very easy to care for. Lots and lots of water. You should also transfer them to a larger vessel as soon as you get them. It will allow the roots to spread. Minimal sunlight is needed.

Just leaves tucked into soil!!

Update: These plants are hardy! I separated the leaves into 3 pots and even though they barely had roots, they took off and are thriving!! I guess in hindsight I would buy them again, so I'm boosting my rating. :)My plant arrived will packaged, with the pot and soil tightly wrapped in siranwrap and secured with a rubber band. The leaves looked great. When I went to repot them a few days after they arrived is when I realized that this isn't even one plant. It was a few leaves tucked into the soil with barely any roots on each one. Since they're not dead yet they might take off but I was disappointed. It's not the thriving healthy plant it appeared to be.

Best online plant purchase!

Buying plants online is always a hit or miss! For example, I bought two potho plants from Etsy online months ago and they are not doing well. One came diseased and the other one is hanging on by a thread (literally one leaf). However, this plant from Amazon was definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made when buying plants online. It came in full and was packaged well! I’ve named him Naruto, and he’s thriving! This particular plant is not hard to take care of. It is one of the easier plants. This definitely was a great purchase and I highly recommend to any plant lovers. I live in AZ so I do mist this plant due to lack of humidity. My room is north facing so many plants do not do well in my room, however, this one is doing just fine! Also, I want to mention that I took this photo a month after I received this plant. The leaves are growing in healthy and there has been a lot of new growth!

Very pleased with the Seller

When the plant arrived I was overwhelmed the way it was shipped. It was super. Then I opened the well packaged plant and again overwhelmed. The plant was beautiful and so healthy and full. This was a wonderful purchase everything about it was superb.

I adore it! Great low light plant.

I absolutely adore this plant! This came packaged great.. it came with my parlor palms in the same box. This plant did not dry out in transit, nor were any leaves damaged. I love the heart shape of these leaves. I must admit... I was pleasantly surprised that this plant is bigger than I expected. It looks to be more of a vine plant.. I’m excited to watch it grow. For now, it’s in my family room still in the pot it came in. Soon, I’ll replant it in a different pot. I don’t have a lot of sun streaming in my family room window.. it’s more of a low light room, which is why I opted for this cute plant. It seems to be doing well so far. This company really takes care of their plants and it shows in their packaging. Don’t hesitate because of the plants long journey to your house. It’ll arrive in excellent condition. I plan on purchasing more plants from them. A big thumbs up!!!!!*** UPDATE ***Look at the new picture I just took!!!!! Look how much this plant grew in 15 months! It’s gorgeous!! As soon as I decided to hang it, it started to trail. I will DEFINITELY be buying another one. ❤️❤️❤️

Newbie plant owner

When I first got the plant, a couple of the leaves were brown so I figured it just needed sun. Within 2 days it like they were dying so I got worried also as a first time plant owner, I thought I was doing something wrong. I finally called my grandmother, who recommended this type of plant, and she was able to help me and let me know not to water it everyday and repot it since it was gonna get bigger and now I have new sprouts coming along fine.
