This is it. This is the one you want. As someone who fosters a healthy obsession for makeup, I don't say this lightly. So what makes this particular product so spectacular? So many reasons, but I am going to limit this review to my 3 favorite ones.1. This is the most recent obvious one, but the price point is clearly fantastic. Mascara is perhaps the most important product in my daily beauty routine, and over the years I have spent money on expensive brands like Dior and Benefit. But at upwards of $20 a bottle, I never felt like these products were paying off. This Maybelline formula is drugstore priced, but high-end quality. This means that you can afford to get a new bottle every month or two to keep your mascara look fresh without breaking the bank. The fact that this product is $6 is absolutely ridiculous- I wish I had been buying it years ago!!2. I love the application wand. It is curved at the end, which gives your lashes a lot of curve, ideal for people who like to skip the eyelash curler in the morning. The shape also makes it perfect for really getting into those small spaces and curves of your lash line that are sometimes missed with a straight wand.3. The formula is, in a word... DREAMY. It is black- the kind of true black that creates such drama and intensity in the lashes. It goes on easily- a few swipes of the wand and your lashes, like the name claims, WILL look almost like falsies. It costs the lashes without feeling thick or heavy, and it is shockingly hard to create clumps (with the amount of volume you get with this product, you would expect MUCH more clumping). I like to use the curved end of the wand to tease out the ends of my lashes to create a beautiful fringe look. The length is like nothing I have ever experienced with other mascara brands- when I use this, my eyelashes LITERALLY brush my browbone... It's amazing.These are just a few reasons to buy this product, but from one makeup aficionado to the next, GET THIS MASCARA. Every SINGLE time I wear it, I get endless compliment on my eyelashes, and at least one person asks me what mascara I use. Every day. That is just the kind of product this is. So, do yourself a favor and buy this, you won't regret it :)*in the picture, I am wearing no makeup other than this mascara. I did not use an eyelash curler and only did a light coat, and THAT is the result... It's amazing <3

I should start by saying I've been using exclusively Falsies mascara for a couple years now, so I knew what I was getting into by buying this. I'm happy to subscribe to it on Amazon because it is quite a bit cheaper than it is in stores, and it's *really* nice to have a new one show up at my door right when the old one is getting worn out. But be careful about the subscriptions because when I subscribed just a couple months ago the subscribe & save price was about $1 lower than I see it is now, and I wasn't notified of the change as a subscriber. Also, I'm not sure if this was in my head or if it was a one-time fluke or something, but when I put mine on for the first time I was a little bit disappointed because it sort of didn't seem to have that brand-new out-of-the-package moist awesomeness that I love when I get it from the store. But I will update this thought when my next one comes!For the people who are thinking of trying this mascara for the first time:*Plan on having a good make-up remover. It stays on aaaaallll day and quite well, but some people find that the trade-off comes when it's time to take it off. Just some simple cold cream easily does the trick though. However, for convenience purposes I usually just use Garnier make-up removing wipes and can still get it off, just takes a little work to get it all.*If you usually use the traditional lime-green-and-pink Maybelline tube or something similarly conservative, you might find Falsies to be too thick and clumpy. This is just a matter of habitually doing more strokes to get the look you want. With Falsies you just need one or two, and suddenly your lashes look longer, blacker, thicker and fuller. They call them Falsies for a reason, it truly gives the effect of false lashes with the naturalness of your own real ones.Would recommend, to the right make-up wearers!

This is one of my faves for the Maybelline line of mascaras. The FALSIES Volume Express, color: blackest black. A really deep, dark black to frame your eyes intensely with color and density.The mascara goes on readily with a slightly curved brush attached to a slightly flexible shaft, attached to an easy to hold cap. You can if you like (and I do) build up some thick lashes with minimal effort and great results.This mascara removes with make up wipes or soap and water, and does stay put IMO-a contact lens wearer.If you like volume this is going to provide it. Like and recommend this mascara.
