This was my go-to fragrance when I was right out of high school. I wore this up until the early 2000s. I would always tell people about this fragrance and then one day I decided to look it up and see if they still made it. I love it so much even though it doesn't smell the same as it did back then on me. But it is a breathtaking smell. I remember it smelling more like gardenia but now it smells more like vanilla floral on me. Either way it's a beautiful floral fragrance with a vanilla undertone

The name itself, "Amarige" refers to marriage, and it is indeed named appropriately as it is romance in a bottle. It is extremely feminine and heady and has a sweet touch, but it does not resemble the monotonous gourmand sweet scents of today. It is a vintage fragrance that has stood the test of time. It is alluring, classy, and elegant, for the lady who appreciates more traditional perfumes that just wants to smell lovely and feminine. I am by no means a perfume expert, but I believe you cannot go wrong with Amarige by Givenchy. A woman of any age should try it if she wants something different instead of the typical, churned-out lollipop scents. It is a masterpiece. It is also affordable and lasts!
