Graphics are terrible
Yes, I get that a book filled with hundreds of pictures could cost a stretched arm and a leg to produce, but the low quality paper and lack of contrast pics is a real downer. Still the book is solid, and even in a few weeks have noticed an increase in flexibility, and a bit more power. At 65, this is welcome.

Excellent Instructional Book
This book is intended for any golfer, regardless of handicap, who wants to improve their game (distance, accuracy, and consistency) and their fitness to play the game without serious injury. I consider it one of the best sports and fitness books I've read. It contains a lot of excellent information, useful exercises, and is written in a very easy-to-read style. This book has helped me significantly to improve the fluidity and mechanics of my swing, relax during play, and to improve my strength, flexibility, and mental approach. Although I can't know what it will do for your handicap, I feel confident that it not only will help you reduce it but also increase your overall fitness and enjoyment of this very challenging sport.

good reference & inspiration for my teaching needs.
I began teaching a yoga for golfers class at a golf-spa resort this summer. Even though I am an experienced teacher I felt I needed confirmation that the poses/sequences I offered were on par (pardon the pun). I looked at several 'yoga for golfers' books and decided this one would be good. This book is written by a person who grew up with golf and taught yoga at a spa resort herself for many, many years. What was most useful to me were the sequences in back of the book. I would study and practice her sequences, modify them and use them in my class. It was great! The book talks quite a bit about golf and has some great quotes in it. For me this book was well worth the money. It has given me the boost I needed to feel confident teaching this specific group, golfers, yoga. And I've learned a bit about the game/sport

very good book with lots of good information on how and why yoga postures enhance a golfers game. The golf swing is very complex and puts a tremendous amount of stress on the body ... this book explains that well and the benefits of a good yoga program if you're going to play golf. It also has 3 levels ... level 1 for somebody new to yoga and not in a regular exercise routine, level 2 for the mid-level routine person and level 3 for the one with experience with some yoga and in a good physical exercise routine.

I'm not an unbiased reviewer. I've known and represented Katherine Roberts and her book projects for more than a decade. However, whenever I've recommended Katherine's work to my golfing buddies the results have been spectacular: improved play on the course and better, more healthy living off the course, including no more back pain. Katherine is not only helping everyday golfers but also highly competitive team sport athletes who play for major league baseball teams (Dodgers, Reds, A's, Brewers, Rangers and Cubs). She's the real deal.

Game Changer
This book is fantastic. I had no previous experience with yoga but Katherine presents the information in a concise and encouraging way. I'm a former college athlete and avid golfer and feel certain this practice will greatly improve my balance and strength for the upcoming golf season.

She is very pleased with the information and the way it is presented
Got this for my wife, who has played some golf and is a yoga instructor. She is very pleased with the information and the way it is presented. As some have said, it's 'just yoga'. Well, yes, it is. But this book suggests some positions and flows, not all, that would be most beneficial to golfers, especially. She is putting together a program designed just for golfers and is finding this book very helpful.

Good yoga book for stiffer people.
This is a nicely laid out book with good pictures and little sequences that can be practiced. It would be very helpful for beginners to yoga who are quite stiff in their bodies. People who are more flexible or well practiced in yoga could do with something more challenging tho. Overall tho a nice, helpful book for beginner practitioners.

Same as a book for beginners
I bought this as a yoga teacher who is teaching a golf enthusiast. All of the poses sugggested are the basic poses one would teach a beginner. I can't say I learnt anything.
