Slightly different body, but functions just fine
I have a 2004 suzuki vl800 and I wanted to replace the fule petcock, one of the outlets faced a slightly different direction, but the fuel line still was able to reach and the setup works fine.

Fuel outlet popped out.
This fit perfectly on my 2001 VL800 Volusia. Fits snug and the vacuum plunger works great. However, the fuel outlet nozzle is press fit and swivels, which is convenient for hose placement but it can swivel itself out of the valve. Case in point I was doused in fuel today when this happened. I placed a zip tie over the nozzle and the valve body to prevent this from reoccurring however it is dangerous. Otherwise the fuel filter was a little bent but functions fine.

Not the same as original
This part functions, but it must be installed backwards and run a longer fuel line to it from the fuel pump. This results in the fuel line sticking out further from under the gas tank. Would have been 1 star but since it does function it gets 2.

Not an exact replacement.
The inlets and outlets are not exactly what was on the bike.
