Baby Beluga (Raffi Songs to Read) Paperback – Picture Book, March 17, 1992

If you are familiar with the Raffi song, you’re child/grandchild will love to sing along. The illustrations are very good, and even my 10 month old grandson loves looking at these pictures.

Someone criticized the illustration that goes with "where the dolphins play" because it has orca whales, but I'm pretty sure they are actually in the dolphin family. Love this book and it's illustrations

Loved this book to look at pictures and sing with my grandchild, she is so excited and tries to read it to me by holding the book and showing me the pictures.

We LOVE this book so much and it is BEAUTIFUL! I also LOVE that it uses ACCURATE Arctic species instead of just the everyday common ones- allows us to use it for higher ages too and even homeschool (looking at habitats, geography, correct corresponding creatures)! For example, the poor white sided dolphins that people seem to keep having an issue with. I would dare say this is the best 6yrs and under book out there and has blessed our family with sweet quality time!

Super cute book!

I raised my kids on Raffi (they are now parents of young children themselves) so this was a great book to give them to share with their children! My kids usually sing this book to their children rather than read it, which is exactly what I am sure Raffi had intended parents do with this book! I recently gave it to a mother-to-be at her baby shower and she was tickled.

Beautiful pictures to accompany such a lovely song. Love singing it with my 2 year old.

Ive bought this for a present for my friends baby shower (we are all to bring a favourite book from when we were young).I still have my hard cover copy of this book from 1990 and it is loved but in good condition and my little girls likes it, so i hope my friends little one enjoys it too.It is the story of a day in the life of a Baby Beluga. It is set to a tune that can be found on youtube. I grew up in Canada and I remember singing the song in school several times growing up (Raffi was very big in Canada in the early 90s. - the Justin Fletcher of my childhood)

For so many years, this has been one of my children's, neices' & nephews', and friends' kids' faves. Lovely song to accompany the story of a baba beluga whale's life. Raffi is total fun.

Highly recommended for Raffi fans - beautifully illustrated and a great accompaniment to the song. It's been a bedtime favourite for a long time now!
