I like everything about them I used them on my shoes

LARGE MEANS LARGE
These are Large. On certain shoes they will cover the entire rear of the heel. Not great for dress boots with any narrowness in the heel.

good heel protectioin on wear
i love these taps for extra protection of wear on my shoe heels.BUT, can't find smaller taps for my cowgirl boots that have a high heel like a dress shoe, and my cowgirl boots have a small heel as well. can only find them for my larger boot shoe want to get these taps in a much smaller size for my other boot heels that fit a ladies boot, possibly a size one inch for ladies boot heels. please find a carrier associate that i can purchase a one inch size tap for my boots. thanks

Quality
I bought these because I walk like a duck and wear out my soles on my work boots. I didn't know what to expect but I put them on my boots months ago and am still on my first set ! I am on my feet in a factory 9hrs a day and I figured the cement and catwalks would destroy them quickly. Nope ! Very strong. You just have to get used to people staring at you funny as you clack clack clack along the floor.

Practical
They are exactly what they are described to be.Very few cobblers are now carrying these materials, so I appreciate AMAZOn filling the gap.

Didn't last.
Got these because my expensive shoes were wearing out from pronation. Chose them over plastic because I wanted something that wouldn't wear away--set it and forget it.The sound is noticeably loud, but you get used to it.Update:Both heel taps broke after two months of use. Might as well get the plastic ones.
