Very bright at night. Not so much in bright sunny days

Bright and rugged, STRONG magnet
This amber safety light is bright and well made. The magnet on the bottom is VERY strong and can hold the light securely to a metal surface, even upside down. Good choice for mounting to a metal door or building side, top of your car if you need to find your way back in the dark, etc.There is one button for operation and it feels rugged. Battery installation is very simple.I am giving this four stars because my unit's "triple flash", while reliable at one each second, is uneven in the distribution of the flashes. It is one long flash and two short ones. It's not a big deal for me but might matter to you.

Nice unit, works great
Works great but the magnet’s a bit week, that’s why the 4 stars. 5 stars for everything else. Customer service is great! I have their “up graded heavy pull” magnets. All that means is they screw a Hardware store heavy magnet to the bottom of your unit.. that’s it. IT IS NOT a new bottom piece. So my suggestion, make it simple, buy this unit, if it holds great, if not, go and get a good magnet that you know will hold fast and mount it yourself.

So far, the best battery operated strobe I have found!
I have a couple different battery operated strobes, most are ok but this one surprised me as it is nice and bright even in daylight. I am actually writing this review as I buy a second unit. I have been using the first one for about 6 weeks now and am still on the first set of batteries. I have this one mounted on my John Deere Compact tractor for when I am near or on the road or plowing snow (in winter of course) etc.

Good value works good for hauling long steel

Big, bright and secure - be seen
I bought a pair of these to put on the top rear of my cargo van when I'm out in the field on the side of the road. I place them on the top corners. For their class and cost they are very bright and the batteries last plenty long. I use them typically an hour or two at a time and after nearly a dozen jobs they are still going strong. Easily stored on the inside ceiling they are easy to place and use because there's no cords. Very secure.
