Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC G2 for Canon EF Digital SLR Camera (Renewed)

I have had this lens for a few months now and I am blown away by the images I got so far. I love the sun and shooting into the late day sun for real flares. There is such a balance between washing out your subject and finding that great streak. One flare (not pictured) yielded a perfect Fibonacci circle of Sunlight...I bought my first Tamron (70-300) lens in a pawn shop in 2010 for $80. I still use it today. So this lens imo is only worth getting if you are shooting portraits.I have used this lens for about a year now and for my portraits i love it. it has great sharpness, color and bokeh, however where this lens falls a bit short is on anything moving and lowlight. I have used this lens at weddings an there have been some real rage-filled moments when a bride is coming down the aisle and the lens focus just searches back and forth. It becomes a lot worse the lower the light is and will focus search for long enough that you miss that key moment.For portraits where the subject stays still and with little movment this lens will work just fine for what you need.

I saved $300 buying a "renewed" lens. I can NOT find anything wrong with it. I don't even find a scratch or ding on the outside. I added on the Warrenty and a UV Filter and still I'm money ahead. The Tamron lens is an awesome value compared to the Canon Lens. The sharpness and autofocus are phenomenal. I bought this lens for my Eastern Caribbean cruise. Some of my best photos ever. I highly recommend this lens and don't be afraid of the "renewed" lens.

I purchased this product from Amazon Renewed and I’m super happy I did. This product looks brand new!!! I used for entire week shooting events and it works flawless, I’ve shot with the canon 70-200 L IS II and in my opinion this is on par with it . The IS is definitely better!!

This lens take bright, sharp pictures.

This lens is cheaper than the competition's lenses with all the quality. I've been getting some amazingly clean and crisp shots with this, it's by far my favorite lens purchase.

Weather was trash but the camera capture it accurately.
