Pentair 08650-0007 Sta-Rite U-3 Skimmer Basket with Handle Pool Supplies

I was afraid the skimmer baskets would be damaged the way they were packaged. They were in a plastic sleeve in a shipping bag without any bubble wrap or padding. I looked them over carefully and none of the plastic was cracked. Fit my skimmers well.

I like the durability and the handle on the basket. Dislike that if you don’t look closely on the basket you could damage pool pump. Small clear plastic film covering the holes. very hard to tell. I ended up breaking the plastic film with a small screw driver. But other than that I really like the basket. Definitely recommend. Hope fully this is helpful to others.

Fit perfectly

I love that the handle is in the middle like this one. That being said, it slips out every time I empty it. Not hard to reinsert, just mildly irritating. We've only had a couple of months, so I don't know how it will hold up long term. The plastic is a lot thinner than our last one.

Cheaper skimmers are not worth buying. This one is sturdy and has a strong metal handle.

The metal rod across the basket came off, and we have no idea what happened, but it was hard to use without the metal rod

Happy with this purchase to replace my old cracked bucket. Perfectly Fit with no gap. The only little issue is it floated after the pump stopped. A little rock fix it!

Excellent product. Purchased two as I thought the quality would be lacking and would not last. I was wrong, and will probably have a spare for a long time. Would absolutely recommend

Works great like that it has two option to lift basket out. you can use center bar or flat bar closer to the side of basket. ( for use with sock)Wish they would have supplied bar for side use
