Solid paint, can't go wrong
I wish this came with 2 blacks, but other than that it's a great set. Layer in washes and you'll get better results. I've also used it in an airbrush and it paints up great. You'll need to reduce it down if you plan to do this.

Be like Pokemon, Collect Them All
I have used Apple Barrel paints. I have used the Games Workshop paints. I have used everything in-between. I have sold my painted items on eBay. I have put my items in auctions on other sites, in competitions both local and online. I am not a professional painter, but I am by no means a novice. Then, I took a few years off from painting due to some issues. Now I am looking to get back to things. I decided not to go with GW paints but to give these a go instead because of the reviews and where they are made. All I can say is WOW. These paints flow better than anything else I have ever used. Now, I have not used the latest and newest GW paints, so I cannot speak for their quality. But I did turn around a buy 3 different sets of Vallejo paints based on the usage of just a few of these in one sitting - they were that good. I especially like the fact that they have a dropped built-in that allows me to control the amount of paint I use. I 3D printed a bunch of floor tiles for testing purposes and went to work. No primer, just paint. One drop covered an entire inch section of the tile. It soaked into the crevices and flowed smoothly everywhere and made painting almost too easy. And it dried faster than I was used to, allowing me to finish an entire tile quickly. Now, is 1 inch really saving me paint? Well, I primed the second tile and tried again. Now one drop covered almost the entire surface of the 2" x 2" tile including the walls around them. Yeah, I will be buying these again when they are gone. They are quality paints. They have exceptional flow. The colors are exceptional. They are durable even without clearcoat - not that I would ever leave my precious jobs to fate without at least a single coating of matte or gloss finish.

Good variety for your buck
I got these pretty quickly when I ordered them and they were pretty good for painting up a darksouls expansion set I had gotten for a friend for christmas, took a lil mixing on some paints to get them good since unless you get every paint under the sun you should probab;y mix the paints to get a more desired hue. Paints were pretty good, the black I got was a lil thick coming out but it wasn't too much of an issue especially since I mostly use it for mixing to get a darker shade of another color or just mix with water to make a dark wash for getting into cracks for details that I want to look deeper than they are without needing to paint for super duper long.Great deal rn especially if you've been to a hobby store you should know for $30 on the sale it is rn you're getting 16 paints for the cost of 6, if these goes back to it's regular price it's pretty much going to be comparable to buying at a hobby store so maybe best to support a local one if you don't care about savings.

Amazing Coverage. Perfect Color Assortment for Medieval figures
I LOVE Vallejo Model color paint! It is almost the only brand I use for painting 28mm fantasy role-playing figures. I start with Vallejo 28010 - AFV Basic White Primer Spray and finish with Vallejo 28531 - Matte Varnish Spray. They are versatile, easy to use, mix beautifully, come in plenty of different hues, and you get a lot of bang for your buck. A 17mL drop dropper bottle goes a long, long way. One drop covers A LOT of surface area. Dropper bottle keeps your paint fresh, and free from contamination and evaporation. Also, if you’re a little bit clumsy like me, you can drop them, knock them over, or bounce them off the floor with very little mess.If you’re interested in seeing or purchasing my work or just want to see more of what Vallejo Model Colors can do, check out my finished pieces on eBay. Look for seller name Williwowind78.Definitely the best miniature paint I have ever used.

Mine came with 1 bottle that hardened at the top but it was salvageable.
Just like my title states. What sucks is that rather than using a toothpick to push the dried paint through I squeezed it a little too hard that the bottle dropper tip exploded off an about %25 of the paint in the bottle plopped out onto my paint dish. Lesson learned. This was my first time miniture painting and decided to use it on my 1/60 PGU RX-78-2 Amuro Ray Pilot as seen in photo. The colors are super rich and only required 1 single coat. I've had bad experiences with Vallejo airbrush paint but some people convinced me that their paintbrush paints were excellent and not too expensive. If this Medieval set included an Orange color it would have been absolutely perfect. I can however mix the red and yellow to make my own orange if and when the need arises. Great stuff with my only complaint being the hardened paint in the tip of one of the bottles.

Great value without breaking the bank.
Being a casual miniature painter I didn't know the difference between cheap brands and better-quality brands for a long time. Recently however I noticed that my old cheap paints just seemed... sub-par - poor coverage, tacky, not mixing well, etc. So I researched miniature paints and Vallejo kept popping up as a good quality brand. So when I went to purchase them I was pleased to see that the price was very reasonable. Good quality; easy to use bottles. Also, if you're fairly new and don't want to deal with paint thinning and mixing ratios, these are great as they have a good viscosity right out of the box and I don't feel the need to thin them or otherwise alter them.

Great paint
Been great paint! Good coverage and not overly thick. Spreads and levels well enough

Good Colors and Vallejo Quality
As with every Vallejo paint I've bought, the paint itself has great pigment and coverage. The only reason "Ease of use" is lower is that the consistency varies between paints, meaning more or less watering down to get the consistency you need. Also, every Vallejo order comes with a fun game of "will it arrive intact", as the dropper bottles are somewhat fragile and the packaging doesn't offer much protection. Overall though, highly recommended.
