Dexas Mini Silicone Oven Mitt with Raised Nibs, Heat Resistant to 450°F, Red, Dishwasher Safe

Not bulky and does the job

I was a little apprehensive about buying these oven mitts because some reviews said they were small, but I don't exactly have tiny hands and they fit me just fine. And I have not felt the slightest warmth when taking pans out of the oven, which I would sometimes feel with regular cloth oven mitts. Great product!

I bought two of these mitts as only one comes per order. They are the only mitts for hot things that are truly heat resistant! No more burning your hands!!

Already owning one of these purchased at a bricks-and-mortar store, and not being able to find a mate (for my other hand) in my travels, led me to search online. It was difficult as the only logo on it was "Michael Graves design". But I'm sure it is a Dexas; and, it's made in the U.S.A. I paid more for the dark grey, but my kitchen doesn't "do" red. These jobbers are the perfect solution to pulling a hot piece of glassware out of the oven if you've ever had one slip. Actually, they're good for taking any hot piece of ware out of the oven. If you have smaller hands, like mine, they protect your knuckles too. (A footnote here...the last knuckles before my wrist are not really covered, just the first two sets.) Those with larger hands may need to find some other type of silicone mitt.

Amazon reminded me that I purchased this glove from them years ago. I ABSOLUTELY adored this glove. Very thick and heat resistant. Unfortunately, after years of use one glove bit the dust and we had to replace it. Although it fits my own hand better (I am a female), the glove is much too small for a man's larger hands. Returning this because they don't make it any bigger unless I buy a full size glove which I am going to have to do since my hubby does all the cooking. Definitely buying the Dexas full size glove. This mitt is absolutely the best out there. Don't hesitate to buy it (if it fits your hands) as it is worth the money!

I decided to try this Nib Mitt out after getting disgusted with how grimy regular fabric and fabric plus silicone oven mitts get so quickly. I thought this would be perfect because I could just hand wash or toss in the dishwasher. They ARE easy to wash but I have a couple of gripes. First of all, I don't know why this isn't sold as a pair. Most times than not I find I need another one when inserting or removing items from the oven. So I have to use one Nib Mitt and one regular mitt which can be awkward. So, keep that in mind when purchasing, you will need to order two. The other thing is the thumb cavity is too large. My thumb does not feel secure in there and I feel like it will slip off my thumb causing a risk of burn. I would like it much more if it had and extra hook or something inside that cavity where my thumb won't be moving around.Other than those two things the product works but there might be a better designed product out there.

I work in a bakery and I am exclusively in charge of the glazed product so silicon mits are a must! The fuzzy ones can't be used as the fuzz gets in the food and the little squares are such a pain to position your hands right on as you lift multiple trays out of an oven and load them on racks. These give me both grip and no worries about leaving any bits of them behind in the food like with the fuzzy mits. Also as they are not cloth they don't stick to the glaze nearly as bad.The nibs are a nice feature as they increase the space between your hands and the metal and allow for airflow for even more cooling on top of offering increased grip.Love them and my job would be a real pain without them. So much so that I went out and bought them with my own money.My one con is that these are sold individually and I had to order a second to get one for each hand.

I used this product with 2 Napkin holders stuck together to store my craft glue gun and spare glue sticks in.

The product works better than all of the other single hand grip mitts that I've used. Only one comes with this order, but it's of great quality. I did not burn my palm when using this product.
