the tiles are truly lovely. Merchant was helpful. Tiles were marked lost in transit. Refund given by Amazon, I re-ordered new set of tiles. Then, the errant tiles arrived. (Through NO fault of the merchant!) Merchant was helpful in resolving issue for return of extra tiles.

received damaged tiles and paid shipping fees at a high rate 50 dollars to be exact and have not received damaged tiles after weeks of waiting

I bought these for a backsplash in my kitchen, and I was not disappointed! The tiles themselves are excellent quality, heavy duty and easy to install. They are slightly larger than the standard 4 x 4, and slightly thicker (leaving a shadow on the row of tiles below), but not enough to notice unless you're really anal about those kinds of things.The hand-painting is evident, mostly in the center area, where the dark blue leaves are unevenly shaded and sometimes outside of the lines (sometimes the paint seems to glop), but it gives a personal character and touch to the workmanship. It's certainly not enough to detract from the quality, and only evident if you pay special attention. At a glance, which is how most tilework is viewed, you can't really tell!I am quite pleased with these tiles!
