I probably wouldn't spend $80 on a chair normally but I wanted something to go with the MINOSYS writing desk and they are both compatible heights and look good together. That said, I can understand the price tag because this is a very comfortable chair. Definitely one of the more comfortable wooden chairs I've sat in. The seat is also deep enough (front to back) to easily fit a pillow or two without feeling like you're being forced to the edge of the seat.I didn't really read the instructions because I misplaced them and wound up assembling the chair without them, but from looking at a picture of the assembled chair it was pretty clear how the pieces went together. Some of the smaller pieces fit pretty snug and some of the screws took a little extra effort to get in, but it worked out well in the end. I had seen some reviews stating that the finish could come off with the stickers but didn't have this problem myself, they may have improved the finish they use since then or I just lucked out and had less sticky stickers.

This chair is made in Brazil. The hardware is solid and what I expect from a good self-assembly kit. Each piece of wood is labeled with a number, and orientation as required. Each type of hardware is labeled with a letter. It took me 15 minutes to assemble from clear instructions, which time is very reasonable. The chair looks good and is very rigid to sit on. I have two minor issues. One expects from a higher-priced wood desk chair a hollow or depression in the seat surface of a certain shape to accommodate the sitter's anatomy. This chair seat has a sort of hollow but it seems carved by hand and does not have a particular anatomical shape. The slight hollow or depression is more for decoration than functionality. That is not a deal breaker because the depression is slight. The other issue is two paper orientation arrows on the legs. To remove them I had to resort to using a fresh box cutter blade (very carefully) to separate the paper from the wood which then left a residue of adhesive. However, the adhesive is perfectly soluble in rubbing alcohol and cleaned up well. A different choice of adhesive label would be appreciated.

Easy to put together though the parts bag was not labeled completely. The seat itself is not centered ( unable to adjust it ). Otherwise ok

Product was very straight forward. You need to read the instructions to make sure you’re putting the correct legs on the specific side. The bolts do require some play to make sure they all go in but the instructions tell you not to over tighten then until you have them installed first then tighten for assembly. I didn’t really do that and didn’t have issue. Last 3 bolts were “harder” but not impossible. Chair is super sturdy. Looks good. And feels nice. Will be getting a cushion though

We bought two chairs. One never made it out of the box. I wish we read other people's experiences with assembly before purchasing. First of all, they package all the different size bolts and screws together. So it's easy to mix them up. Not realizing this, we first inserted a long screw and it cracked the wood. Ok, I though, my fault for not paying attention, so I got online and ordered a replacement piece. Then after an hour of struggling with the rest of the chair, I couldn't place the last three bolts. They just wouldn't get secure. I rechecked the length (learned from prior error) and sure enough they were the right size. With my wife and I struggling with it, we finally got two of the last three inserted and fairly secure...only one bolt to go. So we stood the chair upright and it wasn't even close to being level. I called the distribution center as there was a request on the package for us to do so before we return to store. They were open until 1700 Eastern, but at 1650 Eastern, nobody answered. Disassembly was easy and a pleasure. We'll get our chairs elsewhere.Oh, the chair's finish and color looks nice...too bad

This chair is lovely and perfectly matched a desk I placed it with it. The color is a dark brown and rich looking.

Ok, for the price, I wasn't expecting much and my first impression was that the box that it came in is more robust than the contents, but after all it is just a chair. It was packaged nicely though. The bad: the seat is basically a flat board with square corners. What little contour, is roughly shaped and not very smooth. This chair is about 2" lower than a standard 18" dining table chair, so beware. All of the fasteners could be better quality. Now for the good. This chair did fit together well. Pegs fit nicely into sockets and all of the the threaded inserts lined up with the holes, so there was no fuss there. Just a simple basic chair.
