Gives you an extra hand to hold tire in place. I will get these again if I need more. Very easy to clamp on. A one hand operation. Easy to remove. Plastic seems to be good quality and there is enough spring on the clamp to give moderate tension but not so much that it is hard to remove. Overall makes the job easier.

The tires on my JD 1026r were over a decade old, and while not completely worn down, oxidation caused the sidewalls to crack and eventually one gave out. So I ordered a complete set of tires and since tractor tires don't need balancing, decided to mount them myself.Small tractor tires are the WORST of both worlds when it comes to mounting them on small diameter wide rims. They act like a low profile tire on one hand, and the tread is ridiculously thick and non-compressible on the other. I got the tire bead breaker from Harbor Freight and while the old tires came off easy enough, I spent the next THREE HOURS trying to mount ONE.After some searching I found these bead clamps, and was confident in the reviews. These clamps are super durable, and allowed me to actually compress the tractor tires enough to get the bead on the small diameter part of the rim and then get the other bead set. Still a huge chore that left me pretty sore (free rhyme for you there) but without these clamps, I would have been paying $150 to get these mounted.Don't expect these to make it miraculously easy. They make it so it isn't impossible, which was worth the price.

These made mounting my 275/35/18's much easier on my 18x9 rims. I could not have mounted them without these. The wheels are very wide with big brake cut, so the wheel drop center is down far. These made the job do-able on a fairly cheap tire changer. No damage to the wheels. Would highly recommend these if you mount your own tires.

These clamps are a life save when working with large off road tires. They stay in place when you get enough of the bead pushed down to start moving around the tire. I mount and dismount all my off road tires by hand and these clamps are a life saver. I had one break but it was my fault getting impatient and forcing it on the wheel.

I thought the product might be metal it's plastic little disappointed in that I'll find out tomorrow if they actually work I'm hoping they do

Had an unusually tight pair of tires to mount on the Camaro. Couldn't have done the job without the pair of these. The cost is somewhat high but they did work great.

Item helped in tire removal.
