Plays great!!
I bought this guitar after buying the JS22-7 and i absolutely love it. I am blown away by how this 8 string plays and feels. Its light, the neck is comfortable and the sound quality is amazing for stock pickups. I had to file down the fret edges because they were a bit sharp, but otherwise everything else works beautifully. Jackson wins again!

Heavy metal 8 string!
The media could not be loaded. Price is freaking great for such an all over the place guitar. Tone is great for screaming riffs, or blues all day long.

EXCELENTE

It's okay at best.
I've had this guitar for a few days now because I really wanted to try it out before I left a review, and I have to say it's okay at best for the price.I've definitely seen worse 8 strings for a similar price. The F# and B strings are noticeably quieter and less punch-y than the other strings, mostly the F# and it's really noticeable when fretting. I've tried it out with several amps, settings, and pedals yet this problem persists. Not sure if it's the pickups, bad wiring, or something else. The guitar itself is pretty comfortable. It's aesthetically appealing.Despite all this it's still VERY annoying to play occasionally because of the aforementioned problems with volume. To make the low strings sound right I have to turn up the gain and/or distortion so high that it makes the higher strings sound bad.

Just great, no heavy at all for an 8 string, really beautiful guitar.
An amazing guitar for those are willing to learn and have the experience of an 8 string.
