I've tried several brands of rooibos tea, and this one from FGO stands out. The flavor is noticeably smoother and richer — not bitter or earthy like some others I've had. Most importantly, it doesn't have that tobacco-like taste that sometimes sneaks into lower-quality rooibos. It doesn't taste like I picked up my grandmas Pepsi can full of old cigarettes. I drink it plain or with a bit of honey, and it's perfect either way. Great quality and value for the amount you get. Highly recommend if you're looking for a clean, naturally sweet rooibos tea.

I'm not a tea connoisseur by any means, but I do know what I like and this tea hits the spot for me as my morning cup. I've had much more complex Earl Grey (read: expensive) in the past, and making the switch from coffee to tea, those much more expensive teas were becoming cost-prohibitive. So, I did a bit of research and decided to try this brand. I have not been disappointed! I'm well into my second bag of this and will keep this stocked up going forward!From a flavor perspective, the Bergamot is nicely pronounced, as the black teas do not overpower it. That's important to me because I just love the fragrance and taste of Bergamot. I like the fact that it's certified organic as well. And though it's high in caffeine, I can create a weaker tea by using less but still get great flavor out of my cup because of the inherent bold flavors of the tea!Highly recommended!As for the Rooibos tea, I just love it! As I've gotten older, my body has become more sensitive to caffeine, so I've had to limit my caffeine intake. Even with the Earl Grey, I can only use about a 1/2 teaspoon. But I like drinking something hot throughout the morning. Enter the Rooibos. I can drink this all day! Slightly sweet, slightly smoky, and redolent with earthy, woody goodness, it's no small wonder this is the national drink of South Africa. I don't know how this compares to what you can get in South Africa - some have mentioned it's not as strong - but I think it's plenty strong (though I use a heaping tablespoon). And a great thing is that I can get three full mugs of tea out of one serving which is awesome.If I did have a nit - and it's only a nit - it's that the bark is VERY finely ground. Even using a metal strainer, little bits will get through. But it's not that big of a deal. If having little bits of flotsam in your tea bugs you, then this might not be for you. But for me, considering the health benefits of the bark, I don't mind ingesting a few nibs.

This stuff is Taste! I read about Hibiscus tea in How Not to Age by Dr. Michael Greger, and I've been looking for tea to drink without sugar or sweetener. The flavor of this is tart, fruity, and satisfying. I expect some people may want to sweeten it, but I encourage you to try it a few times without and see if you may find yourself enjoying it without the sweet. It brews a beautiful deep red hue at the same temperature as green tea (~180 degrees) but can also be brewed with boiling water. I have been throwing one of these tea bags and a green tea bag in the same cup for a delicious blend full of antioxidants. Quite satisfying. And my new favorite beverage -- I can drink it all day long -- is this tea brewed hot, then chilled cold. It makes an amazing iced tea.

I drink tea Earl Grey every day using a Breville tea maker. I like the bigger leaves as they stay in the infuser basket. I do think the bergamot is less pronounced in this blend than some others I’ve tried but the tea is fresh and this is true loose leaf grade tea, not broken leaf or fanning grade. It’s good tea at a good value.

There are many ginger teas on the market. Many taste like dishwater. These FBO teabags have good quality ginger among the tea.Leave the tea to steep for 5 min; use rollicking boiling water; & you'll get a tea that tastes of real ginger. One of these ginger tea bags should do the trick for a mug of tea. I use no milk. No sugar. No honey. For lunch each day, I drink a half pint of this hot ginger tea. It's a refreshing change from my breakfast coffee au lait.This FGO brand is high quality & much more consistent than others that we've tried We've been buying this tea for a couple of years.
