For me it was a little difficult to connect neck band to clip… but not a deal breaker..

My son wore this for his homecoming dance and received so many compliments! It is stunning and great quality. It has a stiff leather backing and hooks on much how a bathing suit top is fastened. By the time he got home the feathers on the bowtie were a little worn looking I assume from all of the adjusting and dancing. I imagine it would hold up fine for someone a little older who’s mindful of not ruffling the feathers literally. We forgot to use the pen with the boutineer. But that was nice quality as well.
