2007 Harley Davidson Road King - fit and works perfect!
Arrived in less than 12 hours from when I ordered!Although the outside barrel is slightly larger than stock, the threaded part is the same on my Road King.First.. check if you have a wiring problem. Disconnect two wires, turn your key on, and jump those two wires with a paper clip. (Don't bang into anything metal on the bike with the paper clip!)If your brake light illuminates, your problem is probably this switch.Next step. Buy one of these.Put it in. You will want to hold the back part of the mount with an open end 5/8 wrench while you use a socket with an extension to remove the old one, and install the new one (I used a 1" socket with an extension.) Do not over tighten!! Pretend it's a bleeder valve.. go easy on it. Not too tight. Just good and snug.Plug your wires back in.You should have happiness now.Highly recommend.

Used this on a T-Bucket Hot Rod to cure a nagging problem.
My T-bucket is light and requires very little brake pressure to bring it to a stop at low speeds. Most modern car brake light pressure switches would not make the brake lights come on unless you pressed hard on the pedal. The cure is this brake light switch designed for a Harley Davidson motorcycle. It operates as lower pressures and now I have brake lights at the touch of the pedal. If this would not have fixed the issue I was going to go with a mechanical switch. The only question in my mind is how long will this switch work. So far no issues, no leaks. To install just needed to change the terminals on the car to spade from round ones.

Not the right part
Unfortunately this part is not correct for the motorcycle I ordered it for, the threaded shaft was too short and I had to order another brand.

Just as described
Nice product. Fit my Gasser hot rod build just as expected. I would recommend

Accel 181101 Stoplight Switch didn't fit
This part did not fit my 2006 FXSTB Night Train 88cu carburated, although the description states it fits. The nut is too large to fit into the OEM/factory connector. You can obviously see the size difference. The correct part that fits my bike is part # 72023-51E or Drag Specialties part # MC-DRAG88, which is narrower and costs about $10 more. Amazon gave me an instant refund and I am sending the Accel 181101 switch back. Not sure if they made different sized switches for 2006 carburated and 2006 EFI Softails/Night Trains, but other reviews and Amazon stated this would fit my bike.

Vendor omitted that this is not approved for DOT 5 brake fluid.
I had searched the Amazon website specifically for information that would tell me whether this product was approved for silicone brake fluid. There was no disclaimer or reference. When it arrived, a small note told me it was not approved for this type of fluid. I wasted my money despite making a concerted effort to determine whether it was appropriate for my purposes.
